My turn..

user posted image

Getting ready for gym.. this is my usual gym getup (with a shirt on, of course). My flab and love handles are noticeable here.

The remaining pictures were taken today in the hotel here at KK..

Some pictures taken at the toilet

My arms need more thickness overall (biceps not visible from back double biceps flex), and I need to cut down on my flab. My chest is also pretty deflated.

Target: After I sort out my CCIE Lab exam in these few months, I'll dedicate more time in the gym (compared to once a week now) and hope to regain some of my lost thickness. I'll also need to get back to hill-running on sunday mornings at FRIM to reduce the flab at my midsection.

No offense, but I think you biceps and triceps looks good (well at least better than mine). I seriously can't believe you can achieved that via once a week in the gym.

In addition, I would like to ask did you achieve that with or without supplements? Either way it still looks good.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Oh, actually I used to go to the gym very regularly. Only been going less regular (once a week) since Nov 2006, so I've been losing muscle mass all around. Previously I used to go to the gym around 4 times a week on average, sometimes up to 6 times a week (but not heavy weights every day.. some days I only go to the gym to do bagwork).

Started off without supplements for around 1 year, till I really couldn't grow much bigger. Then only started with whey protein. Creatine came much later but it's an on-and-off thing. Currently not using any supplements, just maintaining muscle mass. Will use whey protein again when I start going to the gym a few times a week.

Yeah man, it is. But it's not my preferred gym.. I only go there 'cause my girlfriend takes the dance and cardio classes. CF has a good variety of those. I really miss having a bag around. Use to go to Fitness Network at Centrepoint BU. They have this big punching bag over there that's good for building explosive power and endurance.

Great progress, Reyza!

Was it from workout + good nutrition, or fat loss supplements, or both?

Right now I'm also trying to lose my gut. Been taking apples + whey protein for breakfast, lunch and tea time and sneaking off to gym during lunch hour for a quick workout consisting of mainly supersets and dropped sets with minimal rest in between to keep the intensity up and keep my workouts short.

Trying to cut down on rice, noodles, etc and eating more meat, too. Just shifting the nutritional profile of my food intake instead of relying on fat loss supplements.
