Hi there, for begineer to get a camera I think no need to get those like RM 3K - RM 4K SLR and stuffs...

And also no point getting those small tiny camera too...

I also begineer when I bought mine...Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ30 and I'm going to let it go if you interested. Condition is Superb and I seldom using it and you can always try it out and view at it...I'm sure you like it rclxms.gif

no way dude.

cameras like your FZ-30 is rather bulky.

P&S (your tiny camera) models has its merits. they're compact for a purpose and they're not without the ability to snap good pictures.

it really depends on the purpose.

to me, buying a camera depends on
1. usage - what do you intend to use it for.
2. budget - what's your budget as this is the factor that narrows your choices
3. comfort - how it feels in your hands and how you feel using the interface

notice i didn't mention megapixels, simply because megapixels just defines the max size of the image captured.

generally you'll want to compare the above 3 along with the megapixel factor but IMO megapixel should never be considered as a primary factor. personally i find the above 3 factors are more important.

heck i've come by many people who purposely set their cameras to shoot at lower MPs. 6MP users setting it to 2MP. 3MP users set them to 1MP despite having plenty of memory space.
