Hi all
hopefully you all can help me in this, I'm planning to get a HU for myvi and since I have ipod I would like to find out something
1) for pioneer 3950 or 2950, the aux in (front) can it fit a 3.5mm stereo connectors ?
2) I also read about the 4950 and 5950 model as well it has ipod adapter and direct support but it does not comes with the adapter itself , so I was wondering whether I can use the 3.5mm connectors, plug it into the ipod and the aux in, provided the aux in connectors support 3.5mm
3) where can I get a good quality 3.5mm stereo connector ?

I do not want to fork out the extra money for 4 series model and above if I can make use of the aux in right ? blush.gif so need to plan wisely too since i only wan the ipod to play in car while driving

1)yes it's a 3.5mm
2)yes u can...
if im not mistaken if u use direct control or ipod adpter to connect to u'r ipod,u control the ipod from the HU, and if u connect from aux-in u can't control the ipod from the HU
3)maybe u can ask those sifu in audiophiles section to DIY the 3.5 connector, cos last time if im not mistaken some of them selling those good quality DIY 3.5 connector
