Top load and front load weight rating doesn't seem to use same standard.

I read somewhere last time, an smaller rated front load can fit in more than bigger rated top load. So comparing capacity between front and top load not so straight forward, but yea, even so, front load still costs more.

My family used to use front load, then last time when the old one kaput, switched to top load. Regretted it, it felt really wasteful to save few hundred, stuck with tak syok feeling for years until today.

Now praying for the top load to kaput so can get excuse to buy front load lol.

Dear All,

Kindly keep to the dryer topic.

Can any users let me know if use dryer, can the clothes shrink in size or damage?

1. What model you use?
2. Got shrinkage of your clothes or damages?
3. How to clean the condenser? Easy and what frequencies to clean?

No shrinkage of clothes. Even those clothes which mentions do not tumble dry...i also use it on...okay je.
Condenser ...cleaning? hahahaha.....how to clean that?
I know they have a lint capture filter on the right hand side of the opening. I clear that every two weeks.

Don't bother with 2in1 washer/dryer. Most are bullshit.

using an electrolux condenser dryer for more than 5 years.
Cleaned the condenser less than 10 times (there's an indicator light for it)
if the environment not dusty, you don't need to clean it much

once done need quickly taken off the dryer to wear or hang. while it still warm.

if u left it even few hours will wrinkle alot

but got function to "refresh" to make it less wrinkle but waste time n energy lah. just time ur wash.

How do you clean the condenser? Is it easy to clean? Bosch got self cleaning condenser, so no need to clean as it automatically clean by itself.

Hi, I am now thinking to buy LG 2 in 1 combo model F2718RVTV. 18/10 kgs

Reason is the dryer cost almost the price of 2 in 1

Anyone here use LG 2 in 1 combo can give your experience. Can the clothes dry like the dedicated dryer and any issues?

i dun think any shrikage coz most of my clothing are cotton. but wrinkle issues, sure. if left after it done for hours. eg i washed night time n only tend to it the next morning.

happy because from dryer straight wear no prob. 100% dry dry. and even if wrinkle i can use "refresh" function that almost unwrinkle it totally.

Bad experience with my ELECTROLUX 3497.
Own it for a couple of years, technician visited me 4
Times & still can't solve my problem.

Water will not flow into container after a few months.
Apparently the water tube will clog. You can't access to it
Without opening the whole back cover. The water will be at the bottom of the dryer, will overflow out after 3 or 4 drying cycle. (Buy a aquarium tube & suck it out manually)So keep calling them to unclog it.
2nd issue is the aluminium fin. You cannot remove & clean
It. It is permanently in the machine. You either use a tooth brush to slowly clean one by one. Unlike previous model
I can withdrawal & wash.

Really sad with this machine. Have to look elsewhere for a dryer.
