What exactly do you mean by 'auto overclocking'? Please elaborate.

Temperature spike is normal for every processor. Even with Intel processor as long as there's a load it will spike.
OC mode from motherboard - won't harm processor The attachment you give about AMD processor says nothing about overclocking, the last column for overclocking just means the processor can be overclocked. How you overclock and how much harm depends on how you do it. |

QUOTE(goldfries @ Jul 17 2017, 08:41 PM) Temperature spike is normal for every processor. Even with Intel processor as long as there's a load it will spike. Because my MSI mobo setting there can switch to OC mode. If no switch OC mode my CPU speed is 3600MHZ , OC mode will increase 300mMHZ. I want to double confirm it will harm my MOBO or CPU if i put OC mode on my MSI setting.OC mode from motherboard - won't harm processor The attachment you give about AMD processor says nothing about overclocking, the last column for overclocking just means the processor can be overclocked. The auto overclocking should be safe.Thx Download Prime95 and run a blend test for an hour while monitoring your CPU temperature using HWMonitor. Temperature staying below 90C is good. |
