What exactly do you mean by 'auto overclocking'? Please elaborate.

Temperature spike is normal for every processor. Even with Intel processor as long as there's a load it will spike.

OC mode from motherboard - won't harm processor

The attachment you give about AMD processor says nothing about overclocking, the last column for overclocking just means the processor can be overclocked. How you overclock and how much harm depends on how you do it.
