Too bad my dad signed up for S8+ then. Been with Maxis for almost 20 years and switched to MO158 few years ago. Got nothing at all.

I don't know about others but it seems this offer is only at the whim and fancy of Maxis. They PM me but then said no S8 on offer.

I hope others can share out info and not secretly keeping quiet so that customer rights are advocated.

free N8 for just extending MO188 for another 2 years only for selected customers? wtf!!!

the recent RM1 deal for Huawei Mate 10pro = I was at Sunway Maxis.
Just bcoz I wanted to keep my RM48 supp line and refused to get another "new"line = i was not eligible for the RM1deal.

My fren terminated his existing supp line and added a "new" RM48 supp line = and he Got the DEAL!!

Maxis,

CASE #1 = (existing no contract) My fren, got = MO188 + RM48 new supp line + cancel his current RM48 supp line= eligible.

CASE #2 = (existing no contract) Me, told Maxis SA = I will get MO188 + existing supp line RM48 = NOT eligible.

MAXIS = Both, at the end of the day = you still earn the SAME revenue after 24 mths.
Funny, just bcoz my fren willing to use new number, and I want to retain the my super old 10 year old supp line number = he gats a RM1 phone, I get nothing.

Your Marketing Director needs to be changed. Loyal customers does not get any special treatment.


FYI - for years, I have always been on the highest Maxis package even when I had no contract).
And I dun even use 50% of my data and yet i retained highest package.

After so many years, never even got a call from Maxis to offer free phones.
Only last 1 year, after hearing so many "special case", I got pissed off and i changed to MO128 and also still did not finish data quota.


Now, for Maxis Note8 vs UMobile Note8 device package = looks like UM is better deal. (for those who do not need tonnes of DATA).
Why Maxis pricing always so expensive??!!

I have one plan 158 and 188 with several sharelines. Both contract ended.. still yet to receive any offer from maxis. Haha maybe they dont wan me as customer. After some calculation, I find that other telco with similar plan could save me 50%!! Going to port out very soon.

Hi Ben99,

As per earlier reply, please be inform we do not offer any free Samsung Note 8 or S8 from our telesales or save team.
For the Huawei Mate 10 Pro RM1 deal, the criteria will be having a Maxis One Plan 188 + sign up a new Maxis One Share 48 line.
