Have anyone dive in Phuket? Any dive centres to recommend?

Diving in a pond

Going to Bali this June with family
Should have gotten my OWD before that if things goes accordingly to plan
planning to take a few dives there

any recommendation there? dive shop & spots?
I read Nusa Lembongan & Penida is the most famous one, but not recommended for beginners like me due to strong current?

Was thinking Lovina, as kids can go watch dolphins also, but Lovina dive spot is around Menjangan, also not really suitable for beginners as it's deep

Amed would be another popular choice, but nothing much to do for wifey & kids while daddy go diving

I would say generally Bali dive sites is suitable for AOW other than the muck diving sites.
Wifey can go for massage while.... kids........ i don't know what they can do without mommy and daddy.

May I know any recommended dive center in pulau perhentian besar?

Maybe search for which resort you want to stay in first than search for DC there?
Or some say Flora is nice.

Hi all, I'm planning to buy a housing for my XT1 camera. I found Meikon brand. Is it reliable? Cos i see it's made in China ^^

a few uses it. Cheap. I think reliable but not very user friendly.

Not sure. I saw there is Nauticam available. Expensive but very reliable.

The only budget case for your camera..no problem at all..some of our forumer here using meikon..so far no issue.. Meikon quality become good and better compare their old case..

My meikon has double o-rings and a humidity sensor. So far over 20-odd dives it hasn't flooded on me yet *touchwood* but it has given me a few jolts. The humidity sensor beeps like hell when the damp antifog insert drops on the sensor surface. Heart seizing moment. More so for an ex Fuji flagship + lens inside, i'd figure. Unless you already have the XT2 lol
