Latest beta iOS seems more polished and I can see that this release will be one of the best for iOS given the functions enchanced and overall it’s better compared to iOS 10. The fact i like the most is that purchased tone are now downloadable (perhaps it was there in 10 but for me it was not) saving the fuss of having to buy the tones again.

Cheaper? On Apple's website, the US sim-free version of the iPhone 7 Plus is USD869, which given today's exchange rate is 3,710.63 but in Malaysia it retails for 4,299.00. That said, you can get it at 3,799 from some channels other than the official one as well so I really don't see why there is a need to buy a US one.

If there are other benefits, then I'm not aware of those

Marketing scheme. I can live with 64gb but in the long run, I'll need the 256gb. If they release 128gb instead that would be better for me.

For me personally I feel 64GB is a sweet spot. 32GB is just too small but my 128GB is overkill, ha ha. And unlike other ecosystems, there's no option to just slot in a memory card for iOS.

My Iphone 7 plus is 128GB, if I were to buy Ip8, seems like a downgrade to 64gb. hahaha.

64GB is right size, but as apps size grows, if you use your phone like 4-5 years, not the option to pick up. Change phones like underwear, definitely.
