Tell you what...Tribunal always protect consumers more...if bring the case to tribunal, Lazada need spend more time and effort than the plaintiff(s).

When it comes to consumer rights, it is no longer about SV anymore.

It's about public welfare. Imagine I am Lazada, I advertise iphone 7 for RM1000 and 1000 people pay for that. Then I cancel the order and drag the refund to these ppl 2 weeks later. I have RM1mil interest free cash flow for two weeks. Repeat that again after two weeks.

What do you think now?

KPDNKK raided lazada office. Lazada manager chose to settle cases through reconciliation outside the court. Of course can't provide anymore details since that's not my case.

So far i am lucky, all my orders either fulfilled or reasonable compensation given + full refund in short time.

That's all about negotiation. You don't fucuk Lazada until they pissed off.

maybe you don't spent as much. for those who have been spending few thousands every month for online shopping (legit price item), when their orders kena cancelled, sure pissed off.

for low value item of course refund with small sv is acceptable.

but comes to high value item, no compensation but lock the cash flow? sure make noise.

of course lazada isn't stupid. they will study your purchase pattern. if u are glitch price item hunter, they fucuk u no free...i am not sure if anyone here already kicked the rock.

but if one has been spending on lazada for legit price item, of course they want to retain this customer.

if the item(s) value worth more than your half month salary, it worth to give a shot. Else, like u all said not worth the time and efforts. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't exercise your consumer rights to ask for sv.

It's all about business, you can't win all the time, mutual beneficial relationship must established. You don't keep asking sv while you are not their real customer.
