I understand your concern for security. For this, I've created a separated SSID just for this HyppTV. Therefore it is isolated from other devices in the other SSID. My router isn't the crappy Dir 850L, I bought a much more powerful router to replace it.

But you could get another media box with much more powerful processing core. For my case, I didn't utilities the Kodi so hardcore. Just stream 1080p with subtitles. Enough liao.

By the way, anyone here using a pretty good smooth miracast for Android / iOS? I know miracast some of the device got lag when using it. Therefore I want to know if anyone is using one currently and would recommend it.
*
Using old tmnet router so I guess can't use SSID.Not hardcore on kodi but people recommend to get 2GB for better caching because internet is slow so need to cache like 10% before playing.

I also looking for miracast or google chromecast but what I wanted is casing without a router. Is there any casting which is smooth without using a router ? like wifi direct to the device and data as streaming.
Just stream some picture because not all LED TV are smart tv.

Its more like extra discount. Rate varies to merchants.
Earn from UMobile bills and reload, Lazada and Mazda SC
Most here redeem for 2x rate on 11street

Last time got BiG Deals RM10 Lazada voucher for 500pts
Useful for glitch buy or small buy which no use voucher bcs point not captured if use voucher

Hope it helps smile.gif

Oh , I did use voucher so the point will not be capture ? I just worry I wasted some of the point.
Now still having those BIG deals voucher ?

Try this http://www.lazada.com.my/samsung-evo-850-1...0.0.f7MWjw&ff=1

Even cheaper.

FYI guys, I've emailed to BPoints Customer Service and I got this email from them.

So only the link samsung 850 evo is the cheapest ? 120GB is not quite enough. An OS already 20GB and SSD recommend not to use over 70% of the space so only left 60GB left for programs. Some program already took 4GB like MS office.

yes, burned.. no way to put in again

But some said if use voucher cannot use the point ? is it the same ?

QUOTE(Stormknight @ Aug 28 2017, 07:16 AM)
Yes. You can Google the meaning of their model numbers.

The last character represents the antenna type

[attachmentid=9082091]

As seen above T represents DVB-T, 0 represents USA and Canada ATSC

Meaning the TV doesn't support DVB-T2 which needs to end with V

So 6300 and 630T is the same model

Else you can go to TV shop or aeon or your TV, take a phone and try to take a macro close up picture of the screen, after take picture,  you can see the pixels after zoom in, then you can see if there's a white pixel between the RGB pixels or not.

Works best if you have a real camera like compact or dslr
*
Where to exactly explain every model number meaning ? some really confusing.Like sony samsung and etc.
As for asian model what the end of it compare to USA model ?
QUOTE(Stormknight @ Aug 28 2017, 08:51 AM)
Samsung Sony Philips

Janji it's proper RGB
*
What about panasonic ?

QUOTE(evilsmile @ Aug 27 2017, 09:57 PM)
chromecast need to use wireless to link with your device

if no router, you can use phone or laptop to create hotspot and connect with chromecast. plenty of way you can play local video to chromecast. I try play hevc/x265 movie, anime from laptop to chromecast also works fine.
*
But you need to have the phone turn on as act as router hotpsot. If I was to watch a youtube movie or etc , the phone need to turn on the wifi non stop and once it is turn off , all casting will be disable ?

Since so many replies about clickasia
I bought a SanDisk sdcard and now it's unable to format and delete whatever in it. Even my phone can't mount it. Detectable via PC and laptop but still unable to format

I msg and emailed them asking for warranty since Saturday. Until now, no reply from them

Any one of u that bought from them successful claim for warranty?
*
If you didn't throw the SD sdcard cover which really required for warranty , you can call to sandisk and ask them. The sdcard cardboard cover is the only proof you bought the genius brand.

Bought Samsung Evo 500gb from them. The selling page states it's a 5 years warranty. I called Samsung Malaysia to get a confirmation, turns out the warranty period is just merely 6 months. I then immediately filed a return request, however got rejected by ClickAsia saying that they do provide one year seller warranty, without any justification or apology. My complain case is still on-going. Will never buy from this seller again!! Untruthful advertisement. I wouldn't care much if my purchased item is lower price, but Samsung Evo 500gb I bought it at around RM800... and to get 6 months warranty and not 5 years really pissed me off. And it's very hard for me to be convinced that the seller will honour their words for the one year warranty provided judging from how they handle the matter.

Anyway, this is just my experience. Delivery wise, yes they are very spot on on that. Other than that, not so much.

I gave them the serial number..sorry typo, not called, texted via live chat..
http://www.samsung.com/my/support/#contactus

They did not ask for the invoice..hmm..may be I should enquire again on this..Thanks..
*
Which model of evo you bought ? There is no way 5 years become 6 months.
Did you bought evo 840 pr 750 with 3 years warranty and the CAsia falsely advertise 5 years ?
Try ask at SSD thread where horns can help you out.

2-3 weeks yes. I ordered many times mostly arrive below 20 days. Note that there are two basic free China shipping method. the 1 by air 1 by ship. Mostly by ship is longer = small packet plus/seller shipping method. I've used registered air mail and AliExpress standard shipping all these times without much issue.

What item was mostly sold over there ? got any case of selling not sending the items ? how is the refund when item cancel ?
QUOTE(lucifah @ Sep 2 2017, 01:55 PM)
