I understand your concern for security. For this, I've created a separated SSID just for this HyppTV. Therefore it is isolated from other devices in the other SSID. My router isn't the crappy Dir 850L, I bought a much more powerful router to replace it.

But you could get another media box with much more powerful processing core. For my case, I didn't utilities the Kodi so hardcore. Just stream 1080p with subtitles. Enough liao.

By the way, anyone here using a pretty good smooth miracast for Android / iOS? I know miracast some of the device got lag when using it. Therefore I want to know if anyone is using one currently and would recommend it.

if no router, you can use phone or laptop to create hotspot and connect with chromecast. plenty of way you can play local video to chromecast. I try play hevc/x265 movie, anime from laptop to chromecast also works fine.

Bought Samsung Evo 500gb from them. The selling page states it's a 5 years warranty. I called Samsung Malaysia to get a confirmation, turns out the warranty period is just merely 6 months. I then immediately filed a return request, however got rejected by ClickAsia saying that they do provide one year seller warranty, without any justification or apology. My complain case is still on-going. Will never buy from this seller again!! Untruthful advertisement. I wouldn't care much if my purchased item is lower price, but Samsung Evo 500gb I bought it at around RM800... and to get 6 months warranty and not 5 years really pissed me off. And it's very hard for me to be convinced that the seller will honour their words for the one year warranty provided judging from how they handle the matter.

Anyway, this is just my experience. Delivery wise, yes they are very spot on on that. Other than that, not so much.

2-3 weeks yes. I ordered many times mostly arrive below 20 days. Note that there are two basic free China shipping method. the 1 by air 1 by ship. Mostly by ship is longer = small packet plus/seller shipping method. I've used registered air mail and AliExpress standard shipping all these times without much issue.
