I've placed an order for the new Vios G spec 2 weeks ago after trying it out. Spec wise for the G is pretty good for a B segment car, hence I've decided to get it against the Honda City which is my earlier choice. I think the lacking part is only the pickup of the car in comparison to my current car (Satria Neo) so I guess this is something I need to get used to and I believe eventually I'll be alright about it. However once it starts moving it will be alright to speed up provided you're in Sport mode (I've tried earlier on the test drive with Eco mode and I was so surprised how much lag there was). So I guess once I get the car I'll just leave it in Sport mode while Eco mode reserve for outstation highway driving only.

There isn't any rebate and the only free stuff is the aerokit that cost RM2800. I asked if I can get a rebate of RM2800 if I choose not to take the aerokit but nope, it can't be done. As for delivery, they are targeting at March so I hope it can be done since my current insurance will end 30th March. I personally do not have experience dealing with UMW so I am not sure if their estimated delivery time is accurate or totally out, maybe some of you can share.

Wow that was fast. May I know when you ordered it? Was it very recent like this month or much earlier the booking was done? I only seen the new Vios 2 times on the road.

Anyone knows what type of bulb the turn signals are? Want to change to brighter LEDs.

I had my license plate and front small lights changed with Osram 5000k T10 bulbs.

The SC nor JPJ/PDRM won't mind it. It is plug & play after all.  If you do want to upgrade your headlights bulbs, get a 4300k or 5000k LED/halogen bulb. High performance halogens won't be as lasting (1 year max).  Just don't install HIDs, that will cost you 5k summons.

Wipers, tyres as well wont void warranties

i changed all to white led include headlight and fog lamp 6000k, visit few times SA wont kacau also. if change small light to white might as well change all to led, otherwise will look ugly with white and yelowish headlight.

Vios 2019, everytime start engine, dvd-avx will show the safety mode and need to agree on it. Anywhere to overcome this?

for the latest vios model, Is there anyway to turn off the auto headlamp?
I always pass by under flyover for short distance the light also keep auto on and off.
And in parking lot also.. want to stay in car but only can switch to small light.. else the Auto headlamp will turn on.

Unlinke Camry.. the BSM system in the vios is quite annoying. it is locally develop according to Kon's youtube review..

If you drive along at the straight line, the blind spot light will on if detects a car in the blindspot zone, but if you flick your signal switch it will buzz if it detect a vehicle within 3-4 meters. If the speed exceed 70kmh, the range will extend up to 12 meters.

i can see its quite annoying if you just want to change lane in traffic where there are pile up of cars all the time...If there is option to off it then it would be good.
