Vios 2019, everytime start engine, dvd-avx will show the safety mode and need to agree on it. Anywhere to overcome this?

I have lodged a complaint to the UMW, let's pray ahrd for me!

My vehicle developed serious fault. I had a dead pixel on my camera recorder's display. Today 27 March 2019, I sent my car for the very first service at Toyota Cheras Service Centre.

After the investigation, I was told that it was an accidentally drive-out the camera recorder. Yet I had done nothing on it as the car was just new and drove only 823 in 27 days. Then, the officer throws his hands up and says they can do nothing. STATUS- need to confirm with supplier suspect external cause during install tinted.

I'm felt that wasting time and money and not get any service when needed. I’m unsatisfied. Any idea about this case?

I have done my first service oredi. Possible i travel to other sc?Goona to try that

anyone know.. where can get service to tighten the car body?

Hi guys. First time car owner here. Thinking of getting the 2019 Vios but have a hard time deciding between mid-range and top specs model. Also, is white colour tough to maintain? Based on experience, white vs silver which would you recommend?

have you all try headlamps with follow me home function?
I have try but not successful. Maybe operate wrongly or not working.
even asked one of the SC supervisor, he said dont know.

Pretty sure you'd just have to pry it with your bare hands. If not, cover a plastic squeegee/expired card with a cloth and pop it out. It's held by double sided-tape.

You can try Osram Nightbreaker halogens. But there's 4300K LEDs that's like OEM HIDs in colour output. Great for my reflectors during dry/wet driving.
Also, those who owns 2017+ Vios with Dual VVTI + CVT can try to update your ECU.
It will be exactly the same as the new Vios/Yaris in terms of throttle response.
Who's going to the service center soon? Can try to ask. It's free I've heard.     

Any recommendation for Vios 2018 brake pad? Prefer last long and good. not really in sport mode during driving.

Or replace back with original Toyota brake pad? seems expensive?

Informed by my SA that, 5 years warranty may void if my Vios is not sent for servicing, follow date or mileage (whenever come first).

mean if service date come first, but my mileage only 2000km, also have to sent for servicing.

Are you guys follow date or mileage normally? coz I only drive my car during weekend which my mileage will be very low.

How u guys think? Should I follow date instead of milleage? very costly for servicing in twice a year. Thanks.

Your speedo might be slightly affected. Not wise to go beyond the 4% rule. Your fenders might kena also if fully tilted to the left/right.

195/55/R15 is the best compromise between comfort and stability.
I've changed to Kakimotor Zerone Springs last year. Still doing good. 60 is very bouncy during speedier cornering mind you.

Oh yeah. Please ask for ECU update for your Vios DVVTi CVT (2017+) from 0000 to 0020. Brand new car.
