must be nice chilli red arrowana eh?
ask the previous owner or pet shop on what they previously feed the arrowana.
arrowanas are well known for being choosy about their foods.
and they prefer mostly live foods. ie; small fish, small prawn or worms.

force feeding are forbidden on arrowanas, or else, you may break their scales or worst, disfigure 'em which will lower their value!

yayaya..but that was kinda hot when i joined this thread for the 1st time. hehehe....

i've had 3 at home. one lousy silver arrow, one chilli red arrow and another rare 2 years old wild black arrow of dad imported from brazil.
but it looks like he'd got a problem. last time, my dad's friends took a picture of him with the flash on... nowadays, he'll just staring at you and suddenly swimming like mad. splashing water all over.
on vet advice; now he'd been kept in covered aquarium.

oh! the best thing about my silver and chilli red arrow was they take everything from live worms, small fishes and fish pellet as well thumbup.gif . both are over 4 years old liao.

anyone into kaloi sabah as well? my kaloi had grow so scary i can heard his mouth/teeth scrathing against the glass when it see my finger outside ohmy.gif

I have 1 Giant White/Pink Kaloi living with my RTG and also a 9 inch Red Sabah Kaloi.  biggrin.gif  It is normal to have a kaloi behaving like that, no need to be so worried.

a friend of mine told me so too! but i prefer the arrowanas slow and serenity moving..... it give me peace of mind just by watching it swimming slowly......

eh, my sabah kaloi eat everything from kangkong, white rice, banana, papaya and ikan bilis. laugh.gif
