Oo.. like that. So for Gold can use Sun Glow right?
Which acardia is suitable for aro? Freshwater?
*
Bryan is using sunglo for his gold aro...the effect is good, but I prefer to use TFC white, its cheap. Go to XLSA, see all their gold look so good, they use TFC white, it brings out the gold, tried it at home and happy with it ever since.

congrat bro on your new aro, if you can, try to avoid crix, I find them messy, noisy and smelly, plus your fish gets very addicted to crix.

my aro addicted to superworms & froggie sweat.gif

not that bad, SW is easy to keep alive for long period of time and no noise and not smelly, frogs if you know the trick can keep alive for a month or so, its not noisy but you get a kinda damp smell.

Careful with fish in the plastic, you just imagine how many hours they bag the fish and they do it everyday, when the fish is in the bag they live in very little water, they shit n pee inside and they get ammonia toxic that slowly burn and damage the fish gill. Some of the damage maybe permanent. Besides its cruel to treat the fish that way. So if can pls avoid those fish esp an arowana.

I was there this morning and I saw the beautiful short body super red still in the underground shop, check it out, the crack already appear but the body no pigment yet, the shape, fin and swimming posture of this fish is superb.

Underground shop is the one palleral to Alive lfs

NEVER MOVE THE TANK WITH WATER AND ARO INSIDE THE TANK. IT MAY CAUSE INJURY TO THE ARO.

What I do last time is:
1. Transfer the water from the tank to big water container.
2. Catch the aro using a big prawn bag. (big plstic bag to transfer fish). Let it be in the bag 4 a while.
3. Take out the rest of the water.
4. Move the tank to new location.
5. Transfer back the old water into the tank.
6. Let it cycle 4 a while.
7. Transfer back your aro into the tank.
8. Observed your aro behavior.
9. Top up new water if needed.

If you have spare tank is better.
1. Move the aro into spare tank.
2. Move the tank to new location.
3. Let the water cycle.
4. Transfer back the aro.

Good luck bro.
*
good advise....keep the filter media (sponge, ceramic ring and stuff all in water and aerate it) this way your filter will not crash coz it'll take hours for the whole process.

I started with Pearl 2 years ago in my 4x2x2 tank. But it went to heaven when grew to 14". Its head got some bubbles and stop eating small fish or worm for 5 months. only eat fish food. [attachmentid=406445]

[attachmentid=406446]

Becareful there is a new disease speading around, the bubbles, if possible do not mix any fish time being to your aro tank you might get the virus/bac into your tank. Nobody knows the cure (period)

I have asked a professional aro rearer, about the price of RTG, he said for a decent RTG must cost 2k+..or else it's not a RTG.
