Ya, just done my claim this morning in this Semenyih 3S for brake switch, really want to vomit blood, another frustrated day, long story in short, if don't scold them they will just let customer wait and take their own sweet time. After raise my voice, manage to collect my car by 11am instead after 12pm.

So now I decided to go to this kajang center to do another claim for my windscreen instead of going to this 3S Semenyih. Their usual service is up to par, but the claiming process is really suffering, like purposely delaying to make u go away, very frustrated.
*
oh we are nearby then. Suggest New Era Kajang, Sg Long Kajang and Global Amity Bangi for service + warranty claim. These 3 SC help me claim the driveshaft, which I claimed 4x within 5 years, thanks to the leaking issue.

My low tire pressure indicator popped up today and scared me to death… went to petrol station right away to top up all four tires. Visually all looked fine and all were around same pressure, so not sure why the alert tripped…

Will observe over the next few days and see if one of them drops more than the rest
*
What tyre pressure u put after that sign pop up

Hey guys my wife just picked up her crv v. May I ask is the interior piano black parts like the door trim and dashboard easily scratched? Do u guys apply any tpu film on it?
*
If it Mazda cx5 which many parts are with black piano parts, yes easily scratch. But can survey a shop which offer interior ppf for this. Else, sending the car to repair interior like Preferred Wheels at FB when the car accumulated many scratch

I went to change tyres to Michelin Primacy SUV+ and the shop told me 240kPA all four sides settle, so I've been doing that... what's the door jamb recommendation again? 230 front and 210 rear?
*
wife SUV I put 240-250kpa, for me the best for SUV tyres, at least for me. better FC with this tyre pressure, and considering the tyre thickness is 55, so it can still absorb the road comfortably. On my whatapps group, got owner die2 put 200kpa max, when after sometimes, the pressure drop below 200 (usually 190kpa), the TPMS will put red sign hence keep asking why the prob is

kon lan firm easily scratch one. after 6 months of ownership, i also immuned liao. so difficult to take care of. Especially the exterior.  fyi..honda my did a lousy paint job on all their cars sold in my. It's only a very thin layer of paint.
*
Same feedback after own Honda Car made in Melaka 10-11 years ago. Ask body paint shop, they verified yes, very thin layer of paint using the reader in micron. Not sure cut cost or this for environment technology for factory painting.

Inb4 Conti brand has thicker paint layer than HM car

i talk with honda bodywork last time. the supervisor say consumer is complaining why the paint for honda car not like mercedes, volvo. very thin. kena batu sikit sudah scratch

the justification was..look at price la. honda price is not as much as mercedes or volvo

in my mind..so the 50K - 100k price difference is because of paint la..
*
cut cost or environmental regulation, need to check. If environmental concerns are a priority, Water-based paints are now commonly used instead of solvent-based ones. But being HM, I believe the cost reason

Rajin sikit, don't stick to one SA, check with multiple, like from XHS. My colleague got his car in May, surprisingly 15k rebate + 3k service voucher. U just text them ask for their best discount, choose from highest, those only give what Honda offer can let them fly kite.

But  if you stay in JB just forget abt it unless you willing to come to Selangor to collect your car. Last time agent in johor only give me 8k, PJ terus give 13k even before we meet. Some more ready stock
*
Last time Civic Ketam era, Semenyih SC, their SA known for giving good rebates. Even customer from KL comes to Semenyih for car purchase

Thank you. I will go back to the same SC then. Mine tinted with 3M. I prefer to go with 3M even with some top up...

So suay... Hit by big stone at elite highway... 100KM/h only... Not fast...

Btw, any issue or misalignment for the windscreen mirror?
*
mine is like changing the windscreen almost annually via insurance, cz bad luck or if need outstation to Lumut from KL, the routes with plenty of lorries sure hit by rocks on windscreen. So change at SC are not just expensive and slow (some need overnight), I usually send mine at the windscreen shop near off jalan klang lama. Need just 3 hours from start to finished the windscreen replacement.

Nowadays, there is even a Windscreen shop that just brings it to your home for installation at your own house. I have not tested yet.

Can confirm SC didn't charge me labor for checking the high-pressure fuel pump, and luckily mine has no issues.

The Service Advisor told me they've inspected more than 50 CR-Vs so far and none is actually truly affected and needed a replacement, that's why the SC themselves don't carry replacement stock, it's because actual affected unit is very rare and this is a precautionary recall from Honda.

On the drive back (~12km) scored 22.2km/L whistling.gif man I love this car.

to be exact, SC will never keep any extra part stock at them, other than normal maintenance service parts like engine oil, ATF, CVT oil, Plugs, etc. Once a customer logs a complaint for a part defect via warranty, SC will do paperwork, take pictures, and log a report to HQ. Then only HQ will determine if to approve or reject, and if approved, it usually takes 2 weeks to wait for the parts to arrive at SC.

This is where many SC will tell customers that if they upgrade new sport rim, they straight tell the warranty application will be rejected and cannot proceed, unless customers install the stock rim.

I guess I am outdated. It seems most car manufacturer defaulted to 0W20 nowadays using the newer SP grade that can withstand higher temp that comes with turbo with better fuel efficiency and faster lubrication.

Like that there is no reason to use xW30 oil for daily drive anymore unless it was used for consistent severe high performance drive.

My old honda's engines still have to use 5W30 FS tho...
*
yes, the 0w20 are the norm nowadays, thanks to more tightened emissions and FC reasons. And in the US, more cars are towards 0w16 Fully syn

Somehow if 0/5w30 good fr L15;1.5T as avoid dilution in engine as the head gasket designed too narrow and also better for older engine like 90k km above .
Also the diff between 0-20 also not much
*
just that new info, most foremen at the workshop don't have these ideas, and keep on suggesting 5w40 fully synthetic to most car users.

My opinion. As long as one use the engine oil as listed in the manual (weight and viscosity) and oil change interval, you are never going to experience any engine oil related problem with the engine. The chance of having problem is same as getting strike by lightning. So no need to be too worried about oil issue.
*
Concur with this statement. Follow manufacturer recommended oil, viscosity, should be safe. Bottom point, max also about 10k km interval service even with Fully synthetic oil used, be it Conti car, most recommended with 15k km interval service with FS oil

because generally mineral oil is unable to keep up the viscosity index requirement on modern day engines.

what's viscosity index? its a number given to how much variance between the oil that's thin/thick on cold temp, and how thin/thick during hot temp.
the higher the number, the lesser variance it is.

the layman and requirement is, oil should be as thin as possible during the coldest freezing temperatures, while as thick as possible during extreme >150c oil temps.
almost an impossible ask, but modern science is making it very possible, hence fully synthetic.

Toyota Gazoo racing is aiming and wanting that in their vehicles:

= High viscosity index achieved through the latest polymer technology

GR Supra is also specced to use 0w20 smile.gif

Sorry different topic. What's ur view on 0w16 fully synthetic, in the US more and more cars putting that as recommendations

Finally first round trip between Melaka and KL, and some running around KL city area, Kepong etc

The new Honda CRV with Honda sensing  L2 autonomous driving + ACC (adaptive cruise control) is really nice.
60-70% of all the highway driving was done by the car, and obviously me to be on standby, and also acknowledging the "steering required" warnings/naggings laugh.gif

The majority of the driving is done by the car automatically.

FC from 7.7 KM/L become 10.2-10.4 KM/L on average (B was reset since first inspection)
No oil change on both engine and transmission.

Refueled on Seremban highway on the way back to Melaka from KL, so my A trip was reset, and that FC is showing 13.7 KM/L
Smooth traffic, average between 110-130Km/H, sometimes even hitting 150

for a 1.6 tons car that haven't even gone through its run in period and still running on oils full of metal debris that's just crazy good!
*
If you ever have time, suggest hitting the EKVE new highway. It's kind of a resemblance to the Karak highway, but with a more straight line, and best of all, it has less traffic. The downhill stretch kinda the longest

ok, full speed test then, 150kmh check.

I remember a long time ago, sent to Honda Sg Long Kajang 4S, as the passenger side mirror vibrated at high speed. The counter SA told me, you are not supposed to drive fast. I argue and ask to see the manager, then go straight to road testing with their technician, verified. At the counter, straight informed SC will order a new passenger side mirror all in under warranty and needs +3 days after the part arrives for repainting.

all are FOC.
