Ya, just done my claim this morning in this Semenyih 3S for brake switch, really want to vomit blood, another frustrated day, long story in short, if don't scold them they will just let customer wait and take their own sweet time. After raise my voice, manage to collect my car by 11am instead after 12pm.

So now I decided to go to this kajang center to do another claim for my windscreen instead of going to this 3S Semenyih. Their usual service is up to par, but the claiming process is really suffering, like purposely delaying to make u go away, very frustrated.

My low tire pressure indicator popped up today and scared me to death… went to petrol station right away to top up all four tires. Visually all looked fine and all were around same pressure, so not sure why the alert tripped…

Will observe over the next few days and see if one of them drops more than the rest

kecian my car. not sure why on earth the honda designer chose to put piano black finish on the front grille. few scratches liao coz i wash car twice a week.  Also few stone chips discovered. sad ! lol

I went to change tyres to Michelin Primacy SUV+ and the shop told me 240kPA all four sides settle, so I've been doing that... what's the door jamb recommendation again? 230 front and 210 rear?

kon lan firm easily scratch one. after 6 months of ownership, i also immuned liao. so difficult to take care of. Especially the exterior.  fyi..honda my did a lousy paint job on all their cars sold in my. It's only a very thin layer of paint.

i talk with honda bodywork last time. the supervisor say consumer is complaining why the paint for honda car not like mercedes, volvo. very thin. kena batu sikit sudah scratch

the justification was..look at price la. honda price is not as much as mercedes or volvo

in my mind..so the 50K - 100k price difference is because of paint la..

Rajin sikit, don't stick to one SA, check with multiple, like from XHS. My colleague got his car in May, surprisingly 15k rebate + 3k service voucher. U just text them ask for their best discount, choose from highest, those only give what Honda offer can let them fly kite.

But  if you stay in JB just forget abt it unless you willing to come to Selangor to collect your car. Last time agent in johor only give me 8k, PJ terus give 13k even before we meet. Some more ready stock

Can confirm SC didn't charge me labor for checking the high-pressure fuel pump, and luckily mine has no issues.

The Service Advisor told me they've inspected more than 50 CR-Vs so far and none is actually truly affected and needed a replacement, that's why the SC themselves don't carry replacement stock, it's because actual affected unit is very rare and this is a precautionary recall from Honda.

On the drive back (~12km) scored 22.2km/L man I love this car.

I guess I am outdated. It seems most car manufacturer defaulted to 0W20 nowadays using the newer SP grade that can withstand higher temp that comes with turbo with better fuel efficiency and faster lubrication.

Like that there is no reason to use xW30 oil for daily drive anymore unless it was used for consistent severe high performance drive.

My old honda's engines still have to use 5W30 FS tho...

Somehow if 0/5w30 good fr L15;1.5T as avoid dilution in engine as the head gasket designed too narrow and also better for older engine like 90k km above .
Also the diff between 0-20 also not much

My opinion. As long as one use the engine oil as listed in the manual (weight and viscosity) and oil change interval, you are never going to experience any engine oil related problem with the engine. The chance of having problem is same as getting strike by lightning. So no need to be too worried about oil issue.

because generally mineral oil is unable to keep up the viscosity index requirement on modern day engines.

what's viscosity index? its a number given to how much variance between the oil that's thin/thick on cold temp, and how thin/thick during hot temp.
the higher the number, the lesser variance it is.

the layman and requirement is, oil should be as thin as possible during the coldest freezing temperatures, while as thick as possible during extreme >150c oil temps.
almost an impossible ask, but modern science is making it very possible, hence fully synthetic.

Finally first round trip between Melaka and KL, and some running around KL city area, Kepong etc

The new Honda CRV with Honda sensing  L2 autonomous driving + ACC (adaptive cruise control) is really nice.
60-70% of all the highway driving was done by the car, and obviously me to be on standby, and also acknowledging the "steering required" warnings/naggings

The majority of the driving is done by the car automatically.

FC from 7.7 KM/L become 10.2-10.4 KM/L on average (B was reset since first inspection)
No oil change on both engine and transmission.

Refueled on Seremban highway on the way back to Melaka from KL, so my A trip was reset, and that FC is showing 13.7 KM/L
Smooth traffic, average between 110-130Km/H, sometimes even hitting 150

for a 1.6 tons car that haven't even gone through its run in period and still running on oils full of metal debris that's just crazy good!

Steering feel fine to me. But the seat cushion is too thin for long drive. Butts hurt
