I have fullbar lte locked in both lte band. Your theory not making sense.
Edited:- let's see how long you take to make up new theory
Y it is related to full bar or no.Edited:- let's see how long you take to make up new theory
What i wanna tell is the phone must tell the network it is able to handover =.=
Not drop to 3g...
U know what is difference between handover and drop (fallback)?....
For maxis n celcom, user will drop to 3g to make and receive call
For others, volte user will handover to 3g if there is weak LTE coverage.
U can say me wrong if u can get volte if u force the band to 4g band only
Else we are actually on same channel ...

Nope. It still use the same lte band. It just use 4g data to send your voice to base station. Something like Skype, Whatsapp etc.
U explaining about volte or ott based voice call? For volte, UE will use diff path to reach ims network
When ue attach to 4g network, phone will tell network that it can support data and voice over ps.
Network verify that it can support voice over ps and inform UE.
Then now is all UE call
1st scenario: if the mobile data at UE is enabled, network will create a path for internet (using data apn, celcom is celcom3g, um is um3g, digi is diginet)
2nd scenario: if the volte calls at UE is enabled, UE will trigger to ask for path to register volte. (So far all telco in malaysia using ims apn)
Means data and volte are 2 diff thing, we can verify by disable mobile data to check whether the volte icon still there or no
