Apparently the reply is something to do with PlayStore Billing.
If you have set your Digi number to pay for your purchase thru PlayStore...then quickly disable lo especially if you having a postpaid number.

the simcard is always in the router, didn't even set up payment method sweat.gif

Apparently Digi will refund if you make complain to them but you need to follow up and can only see the refund in next statement. Sometimes they missed the refund and you have to make complain again which takes up to months to get the refund.

digi cannot stop subscription. u must deal with provider..
digi will refund to next bill if provider refund money..
thats y must report to mcmc..
mcmc will inform digi & provider

I have followed digi's advice to try and stop it by sending the 'STOP ALL' sms to the number.
Other than that, I have also tried to cancel by using the provider's cancellation link.
I said 'try' here because I am not sure if it is trully stopped. sweat.gif

Anyway I dug deeper into the sms inbox in the router and found 1 msg that started it all.. the msg reads
"RM0. 1 DAYS free trial for Jam City Arcade Games Club is activated. 3.99 MYR/7 DAYS charged after the trial. Cancel (cancellation link here)"

My guess is these scammers know that the simcard is in a router (insider info maybe), therefore the sms is less likely to be read before the trial period ends.
the provider: https://fortumo.com/press/digi-and-fortumo-...ng-in-malaysia/

Too many similar cases to call it a coincidence.

As expected they were not helpful at all, ask me to contact the provider instead.
I have reported to MCMC, waiting for them to reply.

you just google 'digi dob for fortumo' and can see many complaints on digi forum about this scam
one such thread, same case, sim card in router, suddenly got charged:

An update:
The summary:
Reported to MCMC, told digi about it and gave them my report number.
Got the full refund for unauthorized charges on my bill.
But strangely no replies from MCMC to me whatsoever other than the automatic "complaint received" email.

I remember last time when I complained about TM to them they were pretty responsive, updating me on things like "Kami menerima maklumat dari pihak TM bahawa mereka telah menghubungi encik blablablabla.."

Maxis is Maxis Fibre broadband. Digi Infinite is just a normal postpaid plan, not even broadband.

nowadays can you still get 100-150Mbps from speedtest at your pj house? I recall it being under the digi tower or something laugh.gif
