The Arc Gurren? Small la....compared to how big the Cathedral Terra is. Its a whole freaking moon. And so far I don't think there's a mecha as ridiculously big as DaiBuster yet.

So far Simon and co. haven't fought the anti spiral gov yet. They were just fighting the automated Spiral Termination System whatever its called which will destroy the planet if the spiral beings reach the population of 1 million. So no....anti spiral gov is nt weaker.

And yes we could expect Lord Genome himself is immortal going through the same process as Viral.

Next few episodes will probably be Simon rallying the other spiral worlds against the anti spirals.

He fought and lost. He was one of the supposed many Spiral Warriors/Knights. He felt powerless and actually dulan with humans already and would kill them all but he didn't due to his attachment to his own race so instead kept them alive and kept the numbers low by keeping them underground and causing earthquakes every now and then to control their numbers.

I think he rather have a whole society of beastmen.

Dunno about the Cathedral Terra....it was probably the original ship he used to fight the anti-spirals. Can't be he built it because then why is it part of the Spiral Termination Program to collide with the earth?

And as for Nia, i think they just possess any random person.....or maybe Lord Genome knew all along because he kept throwing away the girls and probably as a requirement with the anti-spiral gov, must have someone to monitor the world to make sure no weird stuff is going on that can jeapordise them in the future.

Epic win. Don't hate rossiu so much anymore. Hehehe.

Next episode.....even bigger mecha.....0.o

Just waiting for Simon to gattai with the entire universe.

Ok.....i almost shed manly tears.....the wedding sequence sorta reminds me of Gao Gai Gar....not quite but yeah.....sad.

I felt the finale could've been much more but I guess they reached their limit and lost steam after the epic battle.

I was also kind of weirded out about the episode 1 continuity. If Simon passed the core dril to Gimmy, then that means when he walked off into the sunset after the wedding, he just continued being a sad bitter hermit instead of going up into space unifying the nations or whatever it is he's supposed to be doing. That's just sad IMHO. And the lack of manimal boota has left me in despair....in a good way. That whole "evolution power" that he seemed to have was gone after the dream sequence which made that whole standoff with anti-spiral meaningless.

It was kinda sad as well that nobody lived happily ever after. I guess i'm just a scmuck for feel good endings.

I wonder did Takami Akai's departure from the production team affected the story in this sense. Would the story be different if he was still around? Did he have something different in mind for Gurren Lagann?
