when jpn enforce a dress code, people make a lot of hoo haaa.. until someone threatened to wear a bikini to challenge the dress code... but when non-malaysian gov related company apply a dress code, they become like a dog following its masters... So weird..

QUOTE(Starbucki @ Jul 12 2017, 10:51 AM) work shirt, work pants, and coat is it over-dressed? its a night event. dont want to appear under-dressed tho Smart casual means sporty-looking business wear, ie shirt and pants that looks office-like but more showy than normally acceptable in an office. In Msia where people don't normally wear coats/jackets because of the weather, wearing a coat is definitely on the more formal side.A non-black blazer or sport jacket is more fashionable than business, but if you know any other attendees you should ask around what they are wearing. Yours is wedding kah? I'm also attending a hotel wedding this weekend. The family requested jackets but since I am distant and junior, I'm playing with no tie. Considering going like this, but with black dress shoes and belt: ![]() |

Considering going like this, but with black dress shoes and belt: it's not a wedding coz that would be easy. it's a uni alumni dinner where i know nobody there. so nobody to ask. |
