okay..so i think i know where to plug the fiber optic cable on my x360 (using the audio adapter since video using hdmi), but i couldn't see where should i plug it in the R501.

the speakers don't have optical cable input. which means it would only receive 5.1 analog (which i assume that means separate cables for left, right, center and bass)..and how do i go about doing that with my x360 eh? i mean how would my connection be like from the x360?

UPDATE: whoops..bro string just answered my question. no can do with analog since r501 doesn't have hdmi or optical inputs.

bummer....back to the lists again i guess..

good idea..but now how much is the decoder? all u know it would end up being the same as a low end HITB system. 

hmm..500 eh...and the 501 will be about 400. so about 900 bucks jugak la..

possibly the best value for awesome sound! i'm looking into this then. thanks a lot bro..oh and you and me we the same bro. pocket tak cukup big to get funky sound system yet..

@ bro Judge: thanks bro for the suggestion. anyway, don't worry bro..a cheapo entry level suggestion is what i'm looking for. 1st, i don't have a big enough room to fit a theater system. 2nd, i don't have the greens to spend.

well..maybe i could target 900 or lower..see how cheap i could get the decoder.
