So I doubt a compaby the size of Hibiscus has the capital to fulfill that commitment and Petronas knows it. u are one of those dude that deals with EOR right? my boss now chasing me to sell Nitrogen for Tertiary EOR =.= cannot work right? |

hello all sifus,
Although I'm already out from Oil & Gas (now Oil & Fats lol), I am still involved somehow (from FRP pipes/vessels) to Biodiesel. Biodiesel requires Methanol for the process to work. I am looking for the status of PML2 Turnaround currently, will it be still long? Officially supposedly done by 16th Nov, can anyone confirm please? Thank you! |

QUOTE(mohdyakup @ Feb 9 2021, 01:07 PM) I just saw a post somewhere at Linkedin that Lufthansa (citation needed) is cooperating with few enviro-based research house to create a synthetic kerosene for aviation industry. Hello all, silent reader here. For jet fuel / green diesel what the market does is to convert old refinery to process used cooking oil, animal fats, palm oil effluents by hydro treating it. Different people have different technology but in the end it is to make newer generation of biodiesel. Not sure the mix composition of this stuff. Ayam not chemical engineer liao. Keyword - sustainability, tree hugging. Processing it takes more step in the beginning to clean up the feed prior before feeding it to existing retrofitted refineries. From what I see only org puteh countries looking at it. mohdyakup liked this post
