Hi Guys, long time lurker of this forum, thanks for all the input and useful info so far. I'd like to ask for some career advice.

I am an LWD(Logging while drilling) Field engineer with 5 years of experience in one of the MNCs. I am looking to make the move to an office role (anywhere in O&G or even outside the industry) as I don't see much career progression in my current role.

Any advice of where to look or is there anyone on here looking for someone with my skill set? Have been applying on LinkedIn, Jobstreet and Rigzone so far but have not heard back much

I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Seeing as the industry is slowly starting to hire again this might be a good time to move and work on my career path. I am also looking to upskill by enrolling in an MBA this year.

Bro, with the activities picked up, no chance to move up to DD? Or maybe can try joining operator (with good connection of course).

I'm pursuing the DD option but ideally I would like to get an office job.

Unfortunately the key word with Operators is 'good connection'
