Small site office for now, Samsung E&C kinek molah basic civil works for the Methanol plant, nothing major yet. DDE banyak polah rah Samsung Korea.

But very soon will kick off construction mode, watch out for my update.

As expected, Rosemary & Marjoram is ON.

2021 huat ahhhhhh

Rosemary & Marjoram is a parallel EPCC. So Hyundai & Samsung will be both involved. Onshore, we are talking about a new receiving terminal and jetty(?) similar like BORF/BIF.

Timi is offshore WHP, I think 4 or 6 WHP? Not sure, but obviously SPS-SURF sure ada. WHP fabrication, sure open bid to all six Petronas licensed fabricator, THHE sure masuk. OceanMight & Brooke Dockyard would be a favourite, due to local Sarawak sentiment agenda. Sarawak state election is coming this year hehe.

My only concern, since Rosemary&Marjoram and Timi is Shell led project, Shell Global have their own audited and approved principal and vendor list. So this will be tricky to bring in a new principal to them, your principal have to be audited and approved by Shell Global first.

Anyway, this is a very good development. FID is confirmed, Sarawak need the extra gas supply from offshore, as SEDC and Sarawak State Govt need to develop petrochemical hubs at Tanjung Kidurong and Similajau area. SEDC plan to built 9 petrochemicals and other utilities plant in this area, all waiting MIDA & MITI approval, various overseas investor.

But the immediate by SEDC, apart of Methanol (Sarawak Petrochem Sdn Bhd is under SEDC), is the upcoming hydrogen plant, JV with Sumitomo and INEOS from Japan.

2021 gonna be busy at Bintulu, and Kerteh.

Shell Global list is actually a TAMAP list.

TAMAP list and Petronas SWEC doesnt link and jive to each other.

Shell is concern on quality, thats why TAMAP is strict and stringent.

Now I menggelabah biawak already for R&M and Timi hahahahaha because I know I cannot compete with big boy who held TAMAP.

But I havent putus semangat yet. I shall fight for my cakes.

When it come to any gas field offshore Sarawak, the State Govt is always pushing it hard to get it done, to Petronas, PTTEP, Shell, JX Nippon, SapuraOMV and other operator.

Sarawak need the gas extraction from offshore to support the big petrochemical hub in plan to be built at Tg Kidurong and Similajau area.

Not only Methanol, Hydrogen, but there will be other petchem and utilities plant as well.
