I'm planing of doing some reno for my front porch. Would need to cover the floor with concrete and also knock the wall for the gate (currently front porch can only fit 1 car). I also would need help to change some lighting deco and do some wall paint.

Hi, just wondering what can I do if the contractor took the money (70%) but fail to deliver. First payment 50% to start. Second payment 20%. For this second payment is for material. But I don't see the material. He also delay the project for few weeks. Not answering my call or whatsapp. Last week he say he will complete but he only install the fan. What should I do? Where can I go to report this problem?
I am planning to go to his office and factory and ask for full refund. Do I have the right to do so? He has cause a lot of stress to me and time checking with him. |

I need a good contractor (not ID company engaging multiple subcontractors under them) to complete the work at both my condo units.
The scope of the remaining work is very simple. Probably needs just 3-4 days of work only. 1) Electrical - connect fridge, oven, replace main fuse box, check all installed switches 2) Painting - balcony sliding door, laundry area wall, touch up existing painted areas (all paint supplied by me) 3) Tiling works - skirting below kitchen cabinets (tiles provided by me). Rectify feature wall tiles 4) Install bathroom fittings - 2 bathrooms 5) Install counter top basin and tap & pipe fittings - 1 bathroom 6) Replace main water pipe connecting to water tank 7) Other minor works This will only be about 3-4 days work so I only want contractors who have an existing workforce for the above trades ready to mobilise this week and complete all works within 1 week. Contractors must also have a good track record with reasonable prices. I cannot afford any more delays. If this contractor performs well on both these condo units, I will then engage them for my 3rd unit (house) which is a bit more extensive. Hi, could you give quotation for below details. Batu caves area, apartment ground floor.
1) Kitchen. - Change wall tile. Area about 16ft(L) x 4ft(H). Current wall tile only half wall. I want to install new tile until ceiling about 9ft height. The new tile maybe a 2x1 tiles. - I will supply the tiles only 2) Bathroom. - Change wall and floor tiles. Area about 14ft(L) x 4ft(W) x 7ft(H). Using 2x1 tiles. I buy the tiles only. - Change all the fittings. I'll buy the fittings only. - Repair pipe leaking in wall - Repair water tank. I think the "pelampung" is broken. Spill water when tank full. - I live on ground floor so maybe no need waterproofing the floor. Thank you |

Initially i was appointing 2 contractors to renovate my hse, 1 of them was csfong and another one is LOUSY con. my ceiling was spoiled by the LOUSY contractor and he didnt help me to fix back after he failed to do what i had requested (u can see pic below). Then i asked csfong see whether he could help me to fix the mess and csfong didnt mind to help me to fix FOR FREE somemore (Maybe im too handsome...) !!! i would really recommend to u all for this good and reliable contractor...his service really good

To be honest, I am really bad in designs and arts.
End of this year, I am getting married and I am planning to do some slight make over / touch up of my parents house (which i am currently residing also). Its not the biggest contract and i am struggling to find suitable (interior designer + contractor) for this mini project. The things i would like to do for my house - Replacing the curtains - Replacing the house pots - Painting the sides of the house - Painting two of the rooms - Repair and replace some of the bathroom items (some handyman involved) - Make over my room (smart space concept) All above is inclusive of providing ideas, purchasing and managing the contractors Kindly do PM me Thank you. For those looking for Reno guy around KL & Selangor ... words of advise ... don’t use Uni Tech Design Sdn. Bhd. The owner is Jasee and owns a cabinet making factory. His group (electrician, general construction works and etc) are slow, don’t follow owner decisions (does as he thinks is right and after done, said cannot change)
