Bekas pekerjanya mendakwa majikan gagal membayar komisyen RM66,000.

Tiada alasan diberikan sehingga mengelirukan pekerja.

4. Pumpkin Patch dari New Zealand

Syarikat pemiliknya menanggung hutang NZ$80 juta (RM250 juta).

Problem with all the brands that close down is they charge high prices, yet they use cheap local made products . Thats why all those expensive overseas franchise F&B shops dont last long because they are looking for quick profits hence they use cheap raw materials. Thats why the food never taste the same as overseas.

To be a successful brand in F&B , quality control is so important. That is why Mcdonalds is so successful. They have super strict QC .

All the established brands gulung tikar. Out from the ashes, local brands will emerge.

Unfortunately, tourists especially those from China only buy branded stuff. Reason because they can bootleg it in no time.

It is not opposition propaganda to see the value of ringgit slide against major currencies. It is not opposition propaganda when the DOJ is prosecuting your beloved friend for recovery of stolen funds. It is not opposition propaganda that we are mired in corruption as macc is so busy with so many arrests. Did you read the edge about the widening deficit?

These are hard facts that you chose to ignore or is the Malay word dedak appropriate here?

Don't pity me as I have obtained PR overseas.

Someone great like Tun Mahathir is sharp enough to see where this country is going. I guess people of your caliber may not have a clue or must be satisfied in receiving brim.

God Bless you.

Yeah, really can feel the economy is going down, badly.

Not just the franchise outlets, even local shops also can see closing down. Got few shops that I frequents for more than 10 years, starting last year gone one by one. Feel sad though.

Mercedes is selling more cars. Highend phones are seen everywhere. It indicates tastes of the rich and those pretending to be rich are changing.

Both Mercedes and Samsung/Apple produce lifestyle products, like the shops that shutdown did. But there is a clear distinction. Mercedes and Samsung/Apple deal with technology-driven lifestyles. The others do not.

This is a good reply to answer because it contains most of the arguments left by people who are against the opposition view.

Of course everyone got wet in the last downturn. The world is globally connected now, when it rains EVERYONE will get wet. The difference is that some govts don't have as much songlap and will fix the roof, clear longkang, etc more than others.

So when the hujan come, and 1 house gets a little bit wet, and other peoples' houses whole roof cave in because never fix and kena flooding because longkang sumbat etc... tak payah banyak cakap, faham2 je lah.

At that point saying that "SGD is heavily pinned to USD" (wow betul ke? rolleyes.gif ) or this or that is pointless. As I've said to you before, Msia has (had) enough resources to beat the pants off Singapore any time, EVEN NOW. All it needs is hard work from the bottom and a good leadership at the top, and zero out corruption. We can do it in just 2 decades - the studies have been done. The fact that we are limping along today as a poor 2nd best or 3rd best in the region, compared to a tiny island, speaks a lot about our inability...

...and their ability. Visit Singapore sometime and open your eyes. They work hard. They persevere. They educate themselves. And they make an effort to sell their services. Whereas a lot of responses we get over here is "important thing bukan di dunia ini, ia di duna akhirat... sebab tu I tak nak kerja over sangat"... yeah right doh.gif

The worst part is that they don't even really believe that. Its just talk only for kampung folks to feel good. 1 hand bajet alim, the other hand hold out for duit kopi. You know I know.

Countries all over the world have begun criminal cases on the 1mdb matter, going after their own citizens involved. Swiss and Singkies I believe. Ours is silent other than saying "nope, didn't happen, percayalah aku" case closed.

Another interesting case that went quiet quickly is the Panama papers issue, which involved even Lionel Messi if I'm not mistaken. Again here... case closed, no investigation required. How many more incidents and cases were not investigated I wonder?

Fine. I'm not convinced LGE did it, but you know what? You win. Tell you what, send LGE to jail and bill him for the banglo, meanwhile we jail EVERYBODY involved in 1mdb, NFC, PKFZ, Felda, Tabunghaji, MAS, army contracts, vehicle APs, bill them all for all the cases over all the years... because as you said, since Mahathir tenure its all full of corruption. You know I know.

Fair deal?

There are lots of spades in Msia that deserve to be called a spade. Human and women's rights, equality, freedom of religion, habeas corpus (rule of law)... Shall we start to call all these spades spades as well? Fair deal?

Remember, you have your opinion, and everyone else has theirs. NOTHING makes your opinion automatically superior to others. You have to deal with facts. And the fact is that there is a whole lot of corruption going on in the current govt. Don't even have to listen to Opposition or consider big scale events like 1mdb. Just go through the Auditor General's annual list, and wipe EVERYTHING out.

Fair deal?

perhaps u dun travel to kapir country much, or never traveled to one before

only kapir realize that from the past 3 years, MYR has depreciated against most currencies in asia, incluidng RMB, HKD, THB, NTD, if not because of Yen also depreciating at about the same period, otherwise 1000 yen could cost as high as RM 43 above

Bekas pekerjanya mendakwa majikan gagal membayar komisyen RM66,000.

Tiada alasan diberikan sehingga mengelirukan pekerja.

4. Pumpkin Patch dari New Zealand

Syarikat pemiliknya menanggung hutang NZ$80 juta (RM250 juta).

From the list, i can say this:

1. TIM HO WAN - Bodoh overpriced shit food. Bodoh company say Mareisha no eat vavi. Yet so many BKT and Char Siew and Dried Pork meat shops making tons of money. You think Malaysians stupid meh. Gila overpriced. If RM 1= USD 1.30 like SGD, they probably can still do business here.

2. Tous Les Jous - Overpriced gila roti. Nothing special.

3. Delifrance - i think this one closed shope eons ago, no need to put in the list.

This, the Tim Ho Wan one the stupidest. Typical Hong Kee mentality. Please lah, our Malaysian Cainis roadside dim sum much nicer than your overpriced shit.

And you put your shop in malls? Why go all the way to those jam-packed-hard-to-get-parking when the Malaysian Cainis shop just near our homes?

Go open your restaurant in countries like Dubai or US to serve the Cainis Expat community there, not countries where Chinese already been citizen for long time.

Even if they open in Singapore-only young curious millenials will go. The oldies still will know their neighbourhood one is best.

Deserved to close!!!! Welcome to get out of Malaysia!!!!

A lot of businesses have to close shop simply they cannot find workers.

All my foreign workers are rejected from coming back to Malaysia after they return. Because Bijan wanted to *create* jobs for local.

But he doesn't aware that these are the 3D jobs that local worker doesn't want to do.

I sort of remembered there was a thread about this Tim Ho wan not sedap and not worth the price.

So its not just location. Taste not up to par also can kill fnb business.
*
Sorry.. tim ho wan at hatten square still operating. Francaise holder is singaporean & not msian which owned 1u & mid valley.

I've yet to try tim ho wan msia but tried their Hong Kong HQ last Dec. Well, I can confirmed it's so so even in hk. No wonder kenot fight wth other dim sum in KL. Price wise, hk ~ hk25. More expensive than msia tim ho wan!

Yes, correct. Cannot just blame economy when some franchise closed. Have to look at other factors such as taste, local preference etc.

sebanrnya kompeni besar mcm ni mmg harapkan sales dari walk in tempat yg di sewa tu je. so promosi ke website ke apa diorang x prefer nak buat. kind of this bisnes (fancy + harga mahal) only survive at high volume location. eg. mall.

For the brands listed, there are much better alternatives with more reasonable prices. So no loss there.
