This is a good reply to answer because it contains most of the arguments left by people who are against the opposition view.


Of course everyone got wet in the last downturn. The world is globally connected now, when it rains EVERYONE will get wet. The difference is that some govts don't have as much songlap and will fix the roof, clear longkang, etc more than others.

So when the hujan come, and 1 house gets a little bit wet, and other peoples' houses whole roof cave in because never fix and kena flooding because longkang sumbat etc... tak payah banyak cakap, faham2 je lah.

At that point saying that "SGD is heavily pinned to USD" (wow betul ke? ) or this or that is pointless. As I've said to you before, Msia has (had) enough resources to beat the pants off Singapore any time, EVEN NOW. All it needs is hard work from the bottom and a good leadership at the top, and zero out corruption. We can do it in just 2 decades - the studies have been done. The fact that we are limping along today as a poor 2nd best or 3rd best in the region, compared to a tiny island, speaks a lot about our inability...

...and their ability. Visit Singapore sometime and open your eyes. They work hard. They persevere. They educate themselves. And they make an effort to sell their services. Whereas a lot of responses we get over here is "important thing bukan di dunia ini, ia di duna akhirat... sebab tu I tak nak kerja over sangat"... yeah right

The worst part is that they don't even really believe that. Its just talk only for kampung folks to feel good. 1 hand bajet alim, the other hand hold out for duit kopi. You know I know.

Countries all over the world have begun criminal cases on the 1mdb matter, going after their own citizens involved. Swiss and Singkies I believe. Ours is silent other than saying "nope, didn't happen, percayalah aku" case closed.

Another interesting case that went quiet quickly is the Panama papers issue, which involved even Lionel Messi if I'm not mistaken. Again here... case closed, no investigation required. How many more incidents and cases were not investigated I wonder?

Fine. I'm not convinced LGE did it, but you know what? You win. Tell you what, send LGE to jail and bill him for the banglo, meanwhile we jail EVERYBODY involved in 1mdb, NFC, PKFZ, Felda, Tabunghaji, MAS, army contracts, vehicle APs, bill them all for all the cases over all the years... because as you said, since Mahathir tenure its all full of corruption. You know I know.

There are lots of spades in Msia that deserve to be called a spade. Human and women's rights, equality, freedom of religion, habeas corpus (rule of law)... Shall we start to call all these spades spades as well? Fair deal?

Remember, you have your opinion, and everyone else has theirs. NOTHING makes your opinion automatically superior to others. You have to deal with facts. And the fact is that there is a whole lot of corruption going on in the current govt. Don't even have to listen to Opposition or consider big scale events like 1mdb. Just go through the Auditor General's annual list, and wipe EVERYTHING out.

Tbh, Japanese food is way way better than Korean food.
I don't know why some people is really obsessed with Korean food. It doesn't taste good.

only kapir realize that from the past 3 years, MYR has depreciated against most currencies in asia, incluidng RMB, HKD, THB, NTD, if not because of Yen also depreciating at about the same period, otherwise 1000 yen could cost as high as RM 43 above
