Based on the website, the innertank warranty is 5 years. So if it really has internal leak, they will either repair (change parts) or replace the whole heater for you.looking to see if any other alternatives
However, labour cost may apply. If above 5 years and you feel it is expensive, better to just replace the heater.
As this things are related to electricity as well, better not to take risks. Either you go back to the manufacturer or replace as human live is more valuable than anything else.
