Its good to have but not necessary a must. Pursue attack is more bout luck, 50 50 chance of either just 2 hit or 8 hits, 0.4 x 2 or 0.4 x 8. Pursue attack will be based on the element of spell blade skill you use, so having water or earth boost will also increase its damage.

I personally dont owned chicken knife, and my bartz only have the oldest bssb and ssb only, so I didnt max out his lm yet, since already had squall max out. Both are pretty similar in term of skill spamming, where bartz speed is much more higher only. Spell blade is pretty useful for magicite dungeon when you lack double caster for the opposite element, and in term of raw damage out from RD + LD, paine should be the highest among the 3 available native double cast spell blade. And cloud I dont think is categorized as spell blade since his one only limited to 5* only.

FF1 巡る闘争の環 gacha 1 & 2. Garland ussb and bssb2 not bad, ussb pursue attack suck blood whenever using dark abilities, and bssb2 is squall bssb2 in dark element. Sarah ussb also pretty need, attack + magic + shellga+ hastega + 2k buffer heal. Matoya ussb reduce majo abilities cast time, and pursue attack ice fire thunder elements whenever hitting enemy weakness. New thief just so so. Overall gacha 1 offer much better options. Too bad garland dont have any double cast as like squall does.

I have full dived Bartz with USB/BSB/BSB2 and BSB3 on JP and base on my normal route of him, usually USB into 5* Spellblades or Snowspell. USB to BSB2 or 3 usually when i have Entruster available as JP nowdays prefer speed damage output. Still, 5* Spellblades only variable after skill buffs.

Damage wise Squall with BSB2 + LM2 still out damage Bartz with USB + LM2 on neutral bosses where Cloud with USB + OD need Crit Damage boost to beat them.

I try not relying on sb too much nowadays (limited mythril), which is why I tend to choose char with native double cast ability for their lm, and I dont much like gauge transferring unless really run out of options. Lightning is good when is fully geared, but really need alot effort on gear collecting.

With the recent skills updates, double casting really shines and help alot, especially in magicite dungeon. Dont have to rely that much with sb anymore

Next element pick up draw, wind element, most likely early of Sept.



Preview of upcoming magicite inheritance feature. Mana stone which are 3* or higher will get an additional passive skill slot, which you could pick additional passive from mana stone which used to fused with the current one. 4* stones seems to have default passive effect of 3, which can be max out to 4 per stone. Wow magicite is live hmm kill which one first lol

Harder then tourment?

Nightmare/ torment is piece of cake when compare to magicite . Magicite has
no sync,
no selectable rw (only wall by urara),
boss has resistance to every single element, beside absorbing the same element and minor weak against the opposite element,
boss has high resistance to break, common boss is lvl5, magicite boss is lvl8, so break skill is practically waste of time unless nothing else to carry
time attack bonus, within 30 secs will guarantee you 2x 5* orbs
consume 60 stamina (wont deduct if fail) & 1 keystone per battle, max keystone can be save up is 15. One keystone will be given out daily in the dungeon (collectable), where 2 more is from cid mission, after complete 3 and 6 magicite battle.

Its doesnt matter kill which one 1st, just start with the one which you has most opposite element will do. Fire > ice, ice > wind, wind > earth, earth > thunder, thunder > water, water > fire. You will start with the 6 major element 1st where holy and dark will be added later.

Holy just beat fenrir eith mage team zzz double magic buff edea n rinoa dmg stil low how the hell to beat in 30s ..break can throw away lol no use

Fenrir can be beaten within 30s with Squall BSB2 with only Shout, timing is important here. Mage team are doable but alot of resources required. Early magicite are hard esp without skill buffs and efficient Entruster.
