Btw anyone did not use screen protector here? After a while, still ok?

Got question..other than power button..what else to trigger the screen lock pattern? And screen shot (other than power + vol down & hand swipe)
*
I don't use the physical buttons a lot.
I use a lot of soft keys. Navigation ball has most of the functions that I want.
Nowadays, seldom use the SoftKeys Edge panel.

You can always utilize your edge screen function to do screen shot and lock screen laugh.gif

Not bad. If i use a tempered under the clear coat, will it affect the touch sensitivity by a lot?
anyone have already tried?

i never try, but i do change once in 2 month,
keep in mind that clear original has more demand than matte coat,
make a call to them whether they still have a stock before you go to their branch

For me, the original screen protector is still the best. The Rm39 for two piece pack at Samsung Outlets. Cheap and good. Dont need waste few hundreds for those glass SP.  tongue.gif

I wanted to get that as well but when I saw my friend's, it got scratched up badly within 1-2 weeks.

Correct. Apply tempered glass then do clear coat at mobile outfitters. This was actually recommended by their own staff. They will apply the clear coat on top of the tempered glass so the end result would be seamless. You get both protection now since normal clear coat alone won't give you screen shatter reduction and applying tempered glass on top of clear coat will result in stickyness problem.

It is an awesome insurance if you ask me since you'll need to fork out about RM1k to replace. Buy the insurance, pay only RM100 service charge if anything happen... Just make sure you buy it within 30 days from your purchase date, at Samsung Service Center.
You need to go to Samsung Service Center within 30 days of your purchase if you purchase your phone other than Samsung's dealership.

Hmm. The rubbery feeling is my main concern. I think I go the store try first before deciding. Plus, I might be upgrading to Note 8 if it's worth it.

Anyway, after a night with the S8, I'm definitely feeling it. Never thought I could enjoy another Galaxy S phone after the S3. I'll buy an S8 because my tab S2 gave me a really good impression of new TouchWiz even after 2 years+. Some animation lags aside, this thing is just so much faster than my 6P (2 gen jump and 810 was disastrous anyway). Slap on Liquid Armor and never thought a case can feel so good in the hand.

Anyone know a way to force 60fps on games? Tried Game Tuner, no dice. It's wangzhe (don't flame me)

My experience:

I was using a Nexus 6P which is a really large phone (it has an antique design) which made me wanted a smaller phone for better ergonomics. S8 caught my eye with it's huge screen with small form factor. When the display unit came to Malaysia, I rushed to Sunway Pyramid to try it out. Woah, S8 feels good in the hand! I was thinking this is it, the perfect size with awesomely big screen. I'm definitely feeling the S8. One hand operation is flawless. Grip is great as I can hold almost the entire phone in my hand. The notorious fingerprint sensor is perfectly within my reach.

So, I placed the S8 back on the stand with so much satisfaction and start grabbing the S8 Plus. The next thing I know, I bought the S8 Plus.

Wifi calling with U Mobile have been working with our S8/S8+ for a while. I have been using it all along. Check with U Mobile customer service if your Wifi Calling cannot be activated.

One advantage of Wifi Calling is you can make calls to Malaysian numbers from overseas with Wifi and charged as local calls. thumbsup.gif

Yup... Im doing that on my Iphone 7 +. But I have never tried it while roaming. One question, did you activate roaming and let it roam first before using wifi calling or turn off celular network while roaming to use wifi calling?
