Yup... Im doing that on my Iphone 7 +. But I have never tried it while roaming. One question, did you activate roaming and let it roam first before using wifi calling or turn off celular network while roaming to use wifi calling?

I have always used umobile's data roaming pack but never tried its wifi calling. I will have a chance to try next week. Will update on the results then.

I have always used data roaming pack by selecting the UMobile's network partner in that particular country. What I want to ask is do we disable roaming or disable network totally to use wifi calling to make calls. Like on some airlines in Europe, in order to use their roaming on air in the airplane, you would still need to enable airplane mode on while connecting to the airplane's wifi to use wifi calling meaning you still need to turn network off. Because if we are roaming on the network, would the phone connect to wifi calling automatically?

The S8 doesnt have any IR Blasters. So it wont work on older tvs and appliances that dont support wifi and bluetooth control.

Like mentioned, only if your appliances can support bluetooth and wifi connections.
