A little backstory...

I've been using a second-hand Galaxy S6 Edge since last August and somehow while working one day in November, my phone fell flat on the road and it was hit by a car. Luckily, I've put temper glass and casing, but still, my phone cracked like hell but functionality wise, its still good.

Fast forward to January, while on a solo travel to New Zealand, the USB port dies. I suspected it was short circuited due to rain. The consequences, I cannot charge my phone and connect my phone to PC/laptop at all. Stranded and out of options, I have to buy the wireless charger as a means to charge my phone. Luckily S6 got wireless charging capabilities.

However, the experience of using wireless charger on daily basis was not fun at all, guys. Firstly, the charging time is very long often around 3 hours to fully charge from about 10% mainly due to S6 cannot fast charge through wireless charger. Secondly, I cannot use my powerbank for the wireless charger. My phone will continuously charge and discharge often leads to dead battery within 30 minutes. I assume that powerbank does not have continuous current supply, perhaps? So, the only solution was to charge it on a wall plug which often caused problems when I am ravelling.

So it's been 6 months surviving on a broken S6 and wireless charging... until yesterday. Usually, I charged my phone on my bedside table near the window. However, the rain is very heavy yesterday and the water seeps into my room and totally destroyed my wireless charger. Once again, I have no means of charging my phone. So, this morning, I decided to head to the nearby mall and survey for some options.
