have u enabled
keep screen turned off?
no issue for me.
I did, the problem usually occur within that 5sec I'm taking my phone out from my pocket... somehow it unlocks, it managed to find that OK button on the prompt and find that "Emergency Call" button... maybe that same ninja that tangles my earphones does this....

i dont have this problem too,
most likely is because when the phone in your pocket,
the screen is facing your leg (thigh) instead of outside,
so the high sensitive touchscreen being touch even thru there is a layer of pocket (usually inside pocket is make by thin layer of cloth only).
if u put your phone in pocket with screen facing outside,
u will have no problem already, just like how i do,
i dont want the screen facing my leg (thigh) because the rubbing when u walk will cause your s8 oleo-phobic coating dissapear.
of course the down side is when u take out your phone,
it is troublesome to turn your phone with 1 hand..
give and take..
Doesn't matter. Facing outside, it will happen when I'm taking out my phone out of my pocket, maybe not the same screen but still it unlocks... I usually touch that area when I'm taking out my phone, either with my finger or my palm. habits I guess... my only chance to avoid this is to put the phone with the button at the bottom of pocket, which again I need to change my habits...

The home button area is pressure sensitive. But the haptic feedback on iPhone is better and more realistic
want to know why it's more realistic? because the screen actually bent from the pressure, a sensor will measure light change as indicator of distance change. Combine that movement with haptic feedback, for sure it's a more realistic "button"
our Samsung doesn't. The screen detects pressure by assuming "more pressure = more surface contact area", like a lot of doodling apps does. Try to hit the home button with your palm, barely any pressure and yet it detects a pressure.
