i think referring to galaxy's premium pricing

after watching CNET's drop test, using naked screen with my case I'm wondering if I should just sell my X-One SP and use it with naked screen...

I wonder if the phone can actually use all 6gb RAM... Like my P9 Lite previously, it has 3GB RAM but it can't really use more than 1.5GB before the CPU actually get overwhelmed by the process and start terminating background process...

It does feel good... Initially I dont really like it, but I guess at that time my finger was sticky... After a while, I came to love it...

I dont even understand how to use edge lighting other than it looks fancy when receive whatsapp while browsing or something.... turned the screen off facing dow , no lighting comes up...

though, I didn't face similar issue of retina unlocking...

I am considering to turn it off...

Doesn't work on mine at all...

I have AOD on all the time...

The only time it works is when the screen is on, which I already know when a notification comes in...

I read reviews, it's decent above average headphone compared to those that usually supplied with a phone... Not overall in market... It still lacks bass...

haven't tried myself though... I don't fancy wired earphone/headphone with mobile... I hate wires dangling from my ears to my pocket when I'm out and about... staying static while listening to music or watching movies, prefer to do it on my PC... but to be honest, I'm actually tempted to try...

I think butterworthmobile is cheaper by few tens of ringgit...

I'm running without SP right now... though will try to get a shop install my X-One this weekend, if there's nobody going to do it for me I might just use without SP.

I'm using Spigen Slim Armor... though that "slim" is not that slim

I don't know... but mostly I don't care as long as doesn't affect my usage... Everything is at default, except some apps might've been put to sleep because I don't access them that often... I'm happy to know that the phone can keep up with all the background process with no hiccup, unlike my previous P9 Lite, has 3GB RAM but can only utilize 1.5GB before CPU overwhelmed...

in case anybody wants to take a look, I attached the screenshot (even then it can't stay put long enough... some distortion in the shot... ) and this is a little bit better already, perhaps some stuff got killed already since this morning



I did noticed some stutter in video playback lately though... investigating what's causing it...

can confirm the issue is replicable on my phone as well

i run both naked and with x-one. i can say that the screen protector feels really close to naked, my swiping speed doesn't get reduced. compatible with my Spigen slim armor but make sure you are careful when the following is not fully cured yet, it might peel the rocker and buttons hole edge. display quality reduced a little bit, there's rainbow grains but not too severe and still acceptable for me. oleophobic coating? I still notice fingerprints on screen.

the one that's giving fast charging is the adapter, of course the cable needs to be able to carry the voltage and current as well....

So, what you're looking for right now is not the cable but the port. Something with new USB Power Delivery capability... iinm if you can find a PC with USB 3.1 you should be able to do the charging as the new USB PD is part of USB 3.1 spec.

if you ask me, I would rather go for Samsung's Smart Care for screen protection RM149 + RM100 service charge upon replacement rather than going for the Hao because naked screen feels damn good...

but up to you... I don't see anything wrong going for that super-expensive TG... all cheapo TG around doesn't even worth RM10; waste of money and waste of time.... that's why I ended up with the smart care and x-one to protect from scratches...

It is an awesome insurance if you ask me since you'll need to fork out about RM1k to replace. Buy the insurance, pay only RM100 service charge if anything happen... Just make sure you buy it within 30 days from your purchase date, at Samsung Service Center.

I noticed that some apps actually wake up the screen when it has notification. Not all apps, but some does that. Anyway to disable it entirely? can't find the option...

I use bluetooth audio practically everyday, but didn't get that kind of issue both with my car audio and headset...

this is only available with Level lineups right??? or any bluetooth audio devices can be used???

to be honest, my unit also got red tint at the bottom... it's very visible when it's too bright... since I sometimes notice it and sometimes don't, also I don't plan on selling the phone I refuse to send it to SC

Finally got to test the AKG tuned earphone.... the reviewer I read before saying this thing lack of bass seriously need to get his ear checked... sure, it might not be audiophile level but my listening with extreme quality on spotify is nothing but enjoyable.... comfort is awesome, it's light and fit very good in my ear... sound staging might not be great but expected for an in-ear config...

I'm actually considering using this instead of my bluetooth earphone for everyday listening, granted my bluetooth earphone (Awei A880BL) is not exactly even in the 'good' category... I would rate the audio quality on par with my previous Xiaomi Piston, but the comfort is better making this actually a more preferable option.

perhaps, because I don't like too much bass pounding my ears... but when somebody calls it for lack of bass, I certainly expect something a lot lower than this... I even had to rebalance the equalizer towards treble on this one... though maybe I should also mention, the bass quality is not outstanding...

I can't recall the quoted price for it... checked for the quoted price, 99USD certainly doesn't justify this... if priced around Xiaomi's old Piston, I would gladly buy another one...

like I said, I put it as good as the old Xiaomi Piston. Certainly not an audiophile grade equipment... this is still nowhere against my Sennheiser... Not even in the level of my old Razer Carcharias...

Are you using tempered glass? if so, your TG is culprit....

The "pressure sensitive" is not as per iPhone's 3D Touch. In iPhone's 3D Touch, the glass screen actually bend causing changes in distance between backlight and screen. In S8's "pressure sensitive", it's actually based on surface contact area (as in, the harder you press, the bigger the touched area), similar to many "pressure sensitive" capacitive stylus. I confirmed this by using my palm without even pressing and the button detect a pressure.

Those TG with adhesive on the side only has the potential to screw this up by giving fake "pressures". I used to have the exact same issue when I was using TG previously.

But, if you're not using TG I would recommend you to send to SC. Your screen might be defective.

check the temperature, I use Ampere to check for battery temperature. based on my experience, this phone feels warmer than my precious P9 Lite but the temperature isn't any higher compared to that said phone.

So, you could be feeling warm but there's probably nothing to worry about...
