I got Genesis Ethereum mining contract 40mh/s but the output already decreased by 25% from last 2 week.

Is it recommended to switch to ETC for better profit? From the current price and difficulty, ETH is still more profitable. But as ETH difficulty increase exponentially and they moving to POS, i guess ETC might be more profitable in the long run.

I don't thiink you are allowed to change your plan to ETC as long as ETH is still mineable under PoW.

Genesis will migrate your plan to mine another altcoin of equivalent profitability when ETH goes PoS.
*
You can change to ETC in mining allocations. Actually in the mining allocation for Ethereum is Ethash, they have some coins bracket with (Auto).

Those (Auto) is actually mining ETH but they just convert ETH to pay you in your preferred coin based on exchange rate. Those without (Auto) is actually mining that real coins such as ETC in the Ethash mining allocation.

You can have a clearer picture here.

I understand.

The thing is, you are still mining ETH.

Just like my Hashflare Lifetime Bitcoin (Scrypt) Mining contract.

It actually mines Litecoin and convert them to Bitcoin at the prevailing LTC/BTC exhange rate.

If i choose ETC in the Ethash, i will still mining ETH then converted to ETC? Even without the (Auto) ?

But the video say is mining real coin for those without (Auto). Because ETH and ETC share many similarities, thats why can easily switch between those two.

Yes, it is possible to mine ETH because it shares the same mining algorithm ETHASH with ETH.

Scrypt (Litecoin) and SHA-256 (Bitcoin) cannot. They use different algorithm.

You can try to change the Genesis mining allocation and see what happens.

Please let uis know the result.  smile.gif

Yes, for bitcoin mining allocation, you can switch from BTC to mine real coins such as UNO and ZET because they shared same algorithm.

Other coins in Bitcoin mining allocation with the wording (Auto) such as BTCD (AUTO), DASH (AUTO), LTC (AUTO), DOGE (AUTO) and ZEC (AUTO) is still mining BTC but then convert to your coin selection based current exchange rate for your daily payout.

You can play with other contract in the mining allocation. hmm.gif

I just bought 2640 WTT token to host 3 Antminer L3+.

The token will be distribute after token sale end on Aug 1?

What is the next procedure to order the Antminer L3+ from Gigawatt? Waiting LTC price drop to get cheaper units but afraid it will run out of stock later.

Eh? I thought you bought one L3+ directly from Bitmain?

Don't want to mine at home with a 24/7 vacuum cleaner already? biggrin.gif

That unit share with my friend and put at his office for testing purposes.

Bought 3 more unit and put at Giga Watt facility for peace of mind. biggrin.gif

Prolong noise and heat pollution could drive people crazy. Better invest more and let other ppl deal with it.

Mining is better than trading now because of august 1 bitcoin scaling uncertainties and even the coin price drop, i will still getting coin and HODL for future gain.

Crypto Coin market cap drop badly indicating people cash out to wait for the outcome.

The ETH will show in your payout section. The balance not display at my order page anymore after 30+2 days. Please provide wallet address for payout. If you didnt provide address, it will keep accumulating and you must click ! to see your pending accumulative payout.

Good morning guys,

Added some hashes to my Hashnest account last night after monitoring their payout for a few days. The tradeable feature swung my decision to HN over HF.

Only realised that I can buy/sell hash power through their mobile app. Don't have to use a PC. Only need a PC when doing withdrawal from my LTC wallet.

Litecoin difficulty is increasing fast. Output was lesser from day to day at faster rate now. Maybe will see reduction of another 30% by Sept 20 during L3+ shipping.

You can check Genesis Mining Ethereum Wallet. Their last pay out transaction was 3 days ago.

I double checked address, they transfer 1,150 eth to another address and thier last mined block was 150 days ago.

You can refer to their transaction and last mined block history.

Attached with their official ethereum wallet. Something fishy transfering large amount of eth and never mined since 150 days ago.

We expect to have everything solved (payouts included) during this week. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience

Lets see whether Genesis hold on their promise or not.

I specifically mentioned a "breach of contract" when Genesis fails to make payment for the daily mining payouts to customers.

user posted image

A breach of contract by either party should result in contract termination, shouldn't it?
*
That risk should not include non payment for daily payout.
I could understand if daily payout stop because of changes in the coin such as going to POS, hacked and etc.

But under normal circumtances such as no changes to the mining fundamentals, it is hard to accept it as risk for us.
