my ceiling for a old terrace house is 8.5feet after completing plasterceiling etc.

should i still go for a ceiling fan or no?
I like ceiling fan as it is more cooling compared to a normal standing fan.

Yea trying my best to adjust the boxes, coz the original ceiling looks weird with many levels, now need to make it equal @.@

Want to maintain a 9ft ceiling also hard. @.@

For an area of 14ft x 14ft, will a 4-blade fan be sufficient? Or is 5-blade fan better?

Actually I feel the size of the fan is more important.

Use bigger diameter fan for bigger size room.

For example, I have a room that is 14' x 16' but only using a 3-blade fan. Difference is this fan is 70" diameter and the coverage is very good for my room.
