hahaha...there's no practical use for the music buttons to be there...but since its a ~express-music~ phone...dedicated music buttons is like an indicator for ppl to notice and say "oh yes this is the express music phone".......its all for show...but what i've heard...u can hold on to the play button when u're normal phone mode...means music buttons are behind....u hold it....can start music wan...if i'm not wrong

Just tried it, cannot la.
The only thing I find useful of the music face is that u can twist there to get into the "Music Mode" and access the music, playlist n things without going Gallery>tracks. But when u want to search songs, twist back again to type.
The music player supports music covers as well, but malas want to go assign songs to their covers.

shuffle play is always possible. but one thing. when i shuffle, it always plays the first song in the playlist before shuffling/random-ing to another song. any of you have the problem?

Just opened the box n took the adapter and plug in a pair of SE walkman earbuds. The handsfree looks nice I must say, Chrome+white.Come with a locking mechanism on the side cause u will press on the Volume+/- when holding it.Sounds alright. Then I took out the Nokia supplied earbuds to give it a go. Same song , pause, change the earbuds, play.Suprisingly it has more bass than the SE Walkman ones on the same setting.I dunno much about sounds, but if i were to go on a bus or LRT now n need to choose between the SE n Nokia earbuds for the 5700 ,i will go with the Nokia ones. sweat.gif
Tried the nokia ones with Stereo Widening n Loudness settings. I like Stereo Widening =On , Loudness= Off. Seems that Loudness should always be off, speakers or earphones. laugh.gif

The retail package one , Nokia Music Headset HS-44.
Ok , I dont have SE Walkman Phone but just have to get my K800 from the
office. I will try the nokia ones with SE. And of course SE's with SE earbuds and see if they vary much. cheers.gif

well SE's Walkman earbuds are weak in bass...thats to compensate for the Mega Bass's huge amount of Bass...

most likely if the phone is using an app in the mem card and the mem acrd is remove, the app will just close...the card would not get corrupted becoz of that...

Yesterday a friend brought his 6233 to check out the 5700, the similarity in size and design of the 2 is uncanning , except for the twist of course.

Anyways I did a quick comparison on the SE K800 n this 5700 . Using "smack that " as the comparison song, I liked the sound of Nokia Music Headset HS-44 on both. More bass. Walkmans earbuds sound flater, like Nightstalker1993 said,to compensate for Sonys Megabass thing. The sound is fuller n clearer on the Nokia 5700 (with stereo widening on) than it is on the K800. One can argue that K800 is not a Walkman phone. sweat.gif

I would say Nokia Music Headset HS-44 is probably a good thing to have. Then again I might have crossed the line n SE fanboys/girls would come out full force n say I dont know what I am talking about. sad.gif

Anyways, its just a phone. No need to be too upset .If u like SE n Nokia, get them both n keep one spare in your locker. I use the K800 to take pictures mainly.. unsure.gif
