Here's a follow up on my missing parcel case. Play-Asia has given a coupon worth the same amount as the parcel that was lost (USD 31.69). The customer service staff have been a courteous bunch throughout the entire time and even though the lost parcel wasn't their fault, they took the time to write and after concluding their investigations, gave me the coupon.

I had similar experience.

I bought a DVD from PA... when it arrived, there's a loose disc flying around inside the case, when I opened...

cry.gif

so I wrote an email to them, they asked for picture (if I dun mind).

then 2 days later, they said they are sorry, this is the casing issue, so if they send me a new copy, same problem may still happen, so they offered me coupon with similar value.

like zoro mentioned, it's really not their fault, 'cos it's the s2pid casing Fortune Star used... but still they bare the cost.

very good customer service! thumbup.gif

I missed the sales, or the games missed me... I had a few must have games in my favourite list, and the ones I wanted the most were sold out (waiting period 5-15 days).

2 weeks ago, PA bots emailed a game I wanted which had its priced lowered.... which I bought instantly! I choose the thinnest packaging possible so it will be able to fit into my mail box (and save a trip to the post office located at the end of the world).... thus it arrived within 4 days (including a brief stop at the kastam dept.).

Definitely will shop with PA again!

Are you referring to this: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Play_Asia?

In my case, I've made 57 orders since October 2006, all of them arrived in excellent condition, except for one last parcel. That's pretty good in my view, but I can't say for others smile.gif

Ratings are flawed anyway. Especially if it has user ratings. Besides. Those users might be from US or something. Might have problems with play-asia. Being stationed in HK and so on.

Can I ask if anyone has any issues with purchasing Wii controllers + wiimote ? Like stolen / missing or damaged units?

The only thing I've purchased so far are games (DS + Wii) and have never purchased any hardwares ....yet.

My advice if you plan to buy hardware is try to separate the shipment (since shipping is free) to shipments of $50s. You not just avoid being a target of custom, but also you get to use a $10 off coupon for every shipment biggrin.gif

If you need $10 off coupons, let me know. I have a few laying around waiting for new owners tongue.gif

Thanks penman,

Thats the vote of confidence I need... sometimes it can be quite disappointing when the package arrives and things go missing!!!

I got only US5 off coupon...looks like I need to buy more before I get the US10 off coupon. (corrected typo)
