Kinda depends. Whenever I open up the PC (eg: for upgrading purpose), I usually will clean it a little. Clear the dust out. But major cleaning will only be done once I see it get very and I mean very dusty.

Don't know how to dismantle motherboard/ heatsink. I just use some cotton (a little damp) to wipe off dust. Usually clean it when Intel Active Monitor alerts me for overheating.

I don't really dare to use a little damp cotton to clean it...
scared later push the start button, screen black black didn't change...
I just use some soft tissue to wipe the mobo and the others...
and pull out those sticky dust on the fans and use a dry tissue to wipe it again.

As you all know , our pc might collect dust inside the cpu especially on the fans and heatsinks.  rclxub.gif
Sometimes when you dont bother this at all, the dust will build up into a pile and it may affect your computer's cooling efficiency. Not only that but also make your computer run more NOISY  doh.gif . All just because of the dust...
Worse case , your pc might burn out or get faulty over time as the ignorance on it.

So lets find out how often we clean our computer and discuss about it..  rclxms.gif
