Progress

- Managed to install Linux (blackrhino) on my fat PS2 w/o network card and its booting it via USB. Not too bad if you would like to use your PS2 as a PC. Its just nice to watch divx and listen to MP3s and maybe just task. I need to find a USB Ethernet adapter and voila I can get on

That's all. Just reporting only.

Well I recommend you to get the Component Cables for it. PS2 can support up to 1080i. The graphics can handle up to that (this is why SMS can output it to 1080i/720p). Not all games do support progressive scan and 16:9

Not highly recommended to use a LCD to play with it
