In case anybody looking to repair their consoles, forumer deyamato and his team should be in your contact list. Just had a very good on-the-spot repair experience.

I want to connect the PS2 to a LCD PC monitor. I've tried googling it, but notice that most tread is a little outdated. My question is, does anyone here have the real world experience of successfully hooking the PS2 machine to a PC monitor without compromising both sound and picture quality. If so, mind sharing it with me?

I used to have the KWorld TVBox Blazing Orange 1920ex.

But no matter the solution, the PQ is always better on the CRT display. LCD monitor sucks for PS2 output, IMHO.

I had a lot of problem with the contrast i.e. for some games depending on their color design, I'm unable to see some parts of the game unless I keep fiddling with the LCD settings for the different games.
