How can Digi obtain Band 7 20Mhz? Don't they have to find someone to share their Band 7 10Mhz? Like Maxis and Redtone.Digi Fans Club & Enquiries V14, Let's Inspire

QUOTE(prosibu @ Aug 27 2017, 03:12 PM) Normally a tower has 3 antennas. Btw how is the 900Mhz expansion doing? When is it coming to Alor Setar? Some places that I go really needs it Add new antenna will add 33% capacity. But this normally happens on digi. UM dun have such practice. U guys can pm me ur exact location. Some sites are doing antenna swapping for 900mhz capability. Some add 4th antenna + swapping (my case) So.... It all depens... |

QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Sep 27 2017, 12:04 PM) Hahaha. Don’t get your hopes up. Digi already have VoLTE and VoWiFi for quite awhile already...VoLTE and VoWiFi also not available. I always thought they use latest tech but this time they too slow to rollout new tech. But still Maxis 4G is way faster. EDIT: Oh wait... you are referring to Maxis.. lols my bad This post has been edited by jack2001: Sep 27 2017, 03:47 PM |

QUOTE(soonwai @ Oct 17 2017, 06:48 PM) Seriously? My apologies. You're right, I'm confused with all these plans. RM50* a month for unlimited calls and 60GB is very worth it. I shouldn't be even considering signing up for it. Digi! Here I come. I subscribed to the RM250 version of the plan and it is seriously worth it. |

I think mostly KL is affected only, so far no issues here in Alor Setar.

QUOTE(prosibu @ Oct 20 2017, 02:05 PM) Digi seems activated CA/4g+ for those site with 1800mhz and 900mhz only (no 2600mhz) When 2600Mhz + 1800Mhz + 900Mhz CA? So if ur phone supported this,u have to make sure u are connected 2600mhz + 1800mhz (180mbps max) or 1800mhz + 900mhz (150mbps max)..... Currently my mate 9 able to support b3+b8, quite surprised as last timei was informed my mate 9 not support b3+b7+b8 and b3+b8 |

QUOTE(prosibu @ Oct 21 2017, 12:00 AM) I think ZTE dun have such technology....(or u can say not mature enough for ZTE ) Why did Digi choose ZTE in the first place? Does it have something to do with Telenor back then or ZTE was technologically superior to Huawei?ZTE 4T4R at Klang Valley and perak area is a mess....... Veryyyyyyy mess I can tell And ZTE enode b cannot support 256 QAM compared to Huawei’s . That is y u mobile enable 256 QAM at Penang johor Melaka .... while Klang valley...... Digi is properly spoilt hard by ZTE tbh |

QUOTE(Anime in HD @ Oct 21 2017, 05:17 PM) If you can afford. Just go for it. Maxis has always been using 15Mhz for Band 3. On the other hand, Digi cannot roll out 20Mhz Band 7 because they just do not have the extra 10Mhz. Maxis and Celcom shares with other Telco for the extra spectrum allocation block. Digi unfortunately does not have a telco that is next to them that is aboe to share the extra 10Mhz block. Therefore it is quite difficult for Digi to do 20Mhz Band u without resorting to interband CA. Ask prosibu for a better understanding. I forgot which post already but he did explain it before. But, me will wait big 4 telco will have LTE Advance Pro first. Celcom already show that they will have 30% coverage population in 2020 for LTE Advance Pro. Maybe, that time they already come out with unlimited data plan. For my place, maybe will cover in 2022 or 2023. Take note. Maybe, big 4 telco will just focus to expand LTE Advance Pro in urban area. For those people at village. Don't hope too much. Bcz i think they just save their money to expand LTE Advance Pro in rural area. Cost is something. How many user at that place also will be something. So, 4G(90%), 4G+(50%), 4G Pro(30%). Digi is good with their plan. But, me hope they can upgrade network Band 7 to 20MHz download bandwidth. Heard they still use 10MHz for now. Celcom now have upgrade Band 3 10mhz download bandwidth to 15mhz. Maxis also same ke? Since, i don't know about maxis. Not use it at all. Hotlink prepaid cheap la. Maxis postpaid? Fuhh. Very expensive. Yet still have many customer. Quality > quantity Found it, QUOTE(prosibu @ Aug 26 2017, 11:02 AM) They just cant.... This post has been edited by jack2001: Oct 21 2017, 07:14 PMMcmc seems purposely put digi spectrum between maxis n celcom.... For example, for 2600mhz range, Um redtone maxis digi celcom puncak semangat.... Damn... Even worse.... Only can share with puncak semangat... [attachmentid=9079597] 2600mhz will be renewed this year... Lets see if big 3 can get 20mhz or no. |

QUOTE(nk3371 @ Nov 23 2017, 01:03 PM) Question about Digi Broadband regarding these latest offer. 1. Theoretically it is 60GB.[attachmentid=9368369] [attachmentid=9368371] 1) If I subscribe to the Digi BB 60, I got 16GB Internet Quota or 40GB? 2) If it's 40GB, I got to enjoy the 40GB quota for life if I subscribe now? 3) If I used up the 10GB stream FREE quota (read somewhere in LYN said it's 10GB), and then I watch more Youtube videos, they will deduct on the Internet Quota? Or I'm no longer can watch Youtube? Mainly for use at home with my PC during the night. Thinking of switching from Webe BB to this Digi BB. Thank you in advance. 2. Yes. 3. I think tgey will deduct your internet quota. I am not 100% certain tho |

With Maxis' move to get rid of weekend data split bullcrap, I seriously hope Digi will follow suit because excluding weekend data, Digi's offering doesn't look that great...
