QUOTE(limsk @ Apr 12 2007, 02:12 PM) True!! Doing a google search, US WoW gold is sold at about USD370 if you bulk buy 3000 gold. So for 5000, it should be worth roughly USD550... which is about RM1900....I'm pretty sure they can get some really hot and sexy prostutite for USD500...not that "lady" in the photo... |

QUOTE(myremi @ Apr 17 2007, 12:13 PM) and is wearing only black and white a must? lol no it's not a must but they advise us to wear dark coloured blazers and pants/skirts to be more "formal". But seriously, there was this time once when our regional director stood at the entrance at 8:30am SHARP and whoever that came in late (doesnt matter if u're a junior or manager or director) she sent you home so that day u get unpaid leave... |

QUOTE(myremi @ Apr 17 2007, 04:52 PM) Added on April 17, 2007, 4:53 pmSpi is only useful for Resto Druids in Tree Form for the additional healing. Other than that, better go for MP5, even for healers because of the 5secondrule. |

QUOTE(myremi @ Apr 17 2007, 05:24 PM) Spi : I have to dig out the post about the 5 second rule. The idea is that if a priest is out of the 5 second rule often, should go for spirit. If not, stack up the MP5 because the mana regen from Spi only comes 5 seconds after you've casted a spell. In fact, most priests for endgame stack up MP5. And yes, that's for Holy Priest as well I think. Have to check out the holy tree again for any talents that influence spirit. Aye we have spiritual guidance which increases the amount healed by x% of your spi. I was a hardcore raiding priest before I semi retired into the semi casual player that I am now. And umm... I'm pretty sure that all casters know about the 5 second rule when they are lv60+ right? For me, it depends on what fight I get myself into. I use my full MP5 gears when I'm assigned to do dispel duty. When I'm in a longggggg boss fight I tend to focus more on spi. I don't really do the math but I do what I do based on experience and trial & error. But ah...don't really miss playing my priest. I was kinda half "forced" into being the secondary healer class lead and ugh...didn't enjoy it at all. Now I play my lock...pew pew pew pew pewwwwww!!! LURRRRRVEEEEEEEE ITTTTTTTT |

Hmm.. but no vampiric touch? I've never actually tried vampiric touch since my priest left the shadow tree longggggggggggggggggggggg before 41 talent. But at least now I see why you are aiming for +dmg & spi. But not sure if it's worth it tho...
Funny thing is, after in my previous guild, NON of our 12 active priests wanna spec shadow. We were all healbots except one who chose to be the "trinket (PI) priest. |

QUOTE(myremi @ Apr 18 2007, 06:57 AM) And I don't use Mind Blasts anymore unless it's for mobs with low health e.g. Imps, Green Eye. And I avoid it in instance runs coz it pulls too much aggro away from the tank and I have problems managing my aggro then. Although, sometimes, I do the mob pulling with SW:P or Silence and then Fade + Bubble for the tank to pick them up. Aye, mind blasts are aggro b****es. If I were you, I'd bubble first before silencing the mob for pulling. Silence and Shield are also an aggro b****es.Ahhh... it's been sooooooo long since I lvl my priest. Maybe I should go back to my old server once in a while to lvl her up. I can't remember much on how to lvl a priest but all I remember is that wanding + renew was my friend. I tend to agree with Heemee on VT (although I have to admit I've never had it before). Besides, if you're desperately trying to justify staying a shadow priest, I would think this 41 talent should be one of your ace cards. Just my 2c. |

QUOTE(myremi @ Apr 18 2007, 09:29 AM) Atm, the pre70 instances, I can still fade out of Silence. Even with Shielding after the Silence pull. But my luck may run out at lvl70 instances. >< I've nvr been to SL before, since I've semi-retired even before BC. Just keep in mind that MC is a shadow spell and if the mob has high SR then MC will get resisted a lot. Also, for mobs that AOE, when it AOEs the party, MC will break since the priest gets damage. My runs with Shadow Priests through the 2nd room of SL has been terrible. Somehow, their MC gets resisted a lot and when the MT/OT cannot tank multiple mobs well, it's a slaughter house. Probably need to go full points into Shadow Focus to see if that helps. PreBC leveling for my Holy priest was Holy Fire, Mind Blast, SW:P. Didn't like Smite much. And a lot of pot drinking. I went to d/l an addon to see how much mana VT actually gives back. I'm actually thinking of staying Shadow even though my previous goal was to change to Holy Spec at 70. The pew-pew-pew-ness is getting to me too. Hmm, I didn't really drink mana pots a lot while lvling as a holy priest back then. Just drank a lot of water after battles. Shield and MB are actually mana inneficient, especially shield. I usually holy fire first, then pain, then renew and wand. Heal when at half hp and renew pain whenever it finishes. Hardly need to drink any pot. hehe I understand about enjoying pewpewness. I love my lock. Can't believe I stayed a holy priest for a good 2 years++ of my WoW life. |

I think that discussions often instigates something new which might not have surfaced should you just read and digest. But of course, arguments =/= discussions.
Gladys, suggest a topic la since you don't like priest discussions. You know how all of us have this tendency to just venture off topic at the slightest prompt. |
