It's a male who's conducting the Game Axis interview but IMO it is more appropriate this way as he will be able to represent the male gamer population and ask us the questions that these people want answers to and undeniably, the number of male gamers outnumbers us by god knows how many % so their target audience will be males.
At the moment, everything seems pretty legit and as gladys said, if he aiyayas then just kick and cut |

Well, when I play in CCs by myself, I've had many experiences where guys would come over and attempt to "teach" me stuff about the game that I was playing.
One particular incident which is still stuck in my mind was when I was playing RO in a CC. I was lvling a lv70 hunter. At that time, my hp and mp was low but if you play a hunter in RO, you know you can kill a mob without it touching you at all if you set the traps right. Anyway, this guy beside me saw that I was lvling with low hp and mp and he said "hey, your hp is low". I just said "I know" and he said "come, let me teach you something". I thought what kinda hax or something is he gonna teach me, manatau, he leaned over and pressed the "insert" key, which basically is the sit command (in RO, when you sit, your hp and mp regenerates faster). I was totally speechless (I don't usually get speechless) when he did that and he even said "your hp will regen faster this way". I was thinking WTF? I'm a lv70 hunter and you think I didn't know how to SIT? My conclusion is, either he thinks I'm really stupid just coz I'm a female or he is really stupid in thinking that I'm stupid. |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Apr 9 2007, 02:33 PM) hand leveled my assassin to 92 or 93, i felt stupid thinking back. pure waste of time /sigh Umm.. hand level to 92 actually, the incident happend when I was around 70ish. Had a guildmate who lvled his wizard to lv99. To me, I play games for the experience, which includes lvling....but in RO it became bot or guild war....So when WoW launched, I never even CONSIDERED going back.she 70 only, consider good, didnt waste time. Gladys, I was in Iris1 in a guild which is the "opposite faction" of legions...but for the life of me, I cannot remember my own guild name.. >.< Only remember the enemy's hahaha This post has been edited by seen: Apr 9 2007, 02:48 PM |

My previous WoW guild was lead by a woman, a very hot looking one too! Our guildmistress is pretty garang and a hardcore PvPer, she reached rank 13 once but in the end couldnt take any more time off for pvp. Raid leader is her husband who was an ex model. Our healing class lead is also a lady and main puller is also a woman (who playes a MALE orc hunter, BEST puller I ever know). We even have a female only thread in the guild forum where males (except the webmaster) cannot view it.
And I've seen their pics, and yes, they are HOT. We have some HOT guys in our guild too, one who looks almost exactly like that egyptian good guy in the Mummy. |

No no not Brandon Fraser...frankly I don't find him good looking. I'm talking about that guy who has like some marks on his cheeks, longish dark hair, the one who kinda like escourted them...
Me and my brother even kinda suspect if it's REALLY him coz apparently some stars do play WoW... This post has been edited by seen: Apr 10 2007, 09:46 AM |

Well... honestly, I hate to admit it but I generally get along better with males than with females...ever since I could remember. I boil it down to the fact that most of the stuff that I am interested in are "boys stuff" e.g. I watch Thundercats, Transformers, Voltron etc but never the Pony cartoon thing and the Rainbow Bears (or something like that..bears with rainbows in their stomachs). I play video games and I like talking about it...was never interested in the female gossip thingie..... So.... I have to say I do like guys better just because we share the same interests but I also enjoy some very very occassional minimal teeny weeny male bashings once in a little long while >:D

Just something I'm wondering, (this is NOT male bashing or me trying to wave my..um..e-boobs? around) do you feel any different if you were to lose in a duel to a female than to a male when you did not know the gender of that person until after you lost?
Coz there was this mage who lost a few times in a duel to my priest and after about 3 consecutive losses he whispered me and said "good duels, bro" and I replied "try sister" and his attitude suddenly changed 180 degrees. He whispered something like "WTF? yeah right!" and I replied "It IS right" and he whispered "yeah whatever, get the f*** away from me you gay" and /ignore me. Then there's this other time when they guy lost and found out about my gender he was like "lol, damn now I feel even worse!". But I've gone into numerous duels with guys who knew about my gender before the duel and they feel OK even when they lost. So what's up with this? |

Aye I know the first guy thinks I'm a gay man but it seems like it's easier for him to accept the fact that he was defeated by a gay man than by a REAL woman. LOL...
nah I'm not upset, maybe at that time I was a little but definitely not now. I am just curious...coz it seems to me when they KNOw that u're a female and they lost, it's fine, but when they only knew about you being a female AFTER they lost, they get kinda upset. Just curious why is this the case when the outcome is the same. |

QUOTE(myremi @ Apr 11 2007, 01:24 PM) AHAHA this gladys!!! Cracks me up!!! Well when I was playing on the US servers, I got pugged into a guild AQ20 raid. They were a relevantly new guild so I just kinda went onto vent and kinda briefed them about the fight on Kurinaxx. Anyway, after that, news kinda spread that I am apparently, some "hot asian chick with a sexy accent" and from then on, I get PM from strangers asking me to speak on their vent. Of course I never actually did go and speak on some random vent server but after that, it was SIGNIFICANTLY easier for me to get a group to do something, or farm something...ahahaha IMO, if you got it then flaunt it. If you can use the female charm to get your way then use it. I don't see this as any of those "betraying your own sexuality" crap thing. If you got it, flaunt it!!! |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Apr 12 2007, 01:17 AM) You have a reputation for being the "hot asian chick with the sexy accent"?One guild actually PAID me 15g to talk on their guild vent. It was rather silly but funny but it was a guild that consisted of many people that I know so I just went on their vent and fooled around. Sigh...those were the days... |
