I complete my Mount Haruna with Toyota GT86 on Autumn

If you going on winter, it might get snow. Cannot enjoy and very slippery.
*
I just go there to enjoy only, not going there to drift,
I actually plan to rent 86 as well, but it was not suitable for family

Pass by snap photo, check in location and taking video with my new drone rclxm9.gif

Since a lot shop will close early, any activities to recommend at night? The last time I stayed at Shinagawa recommended by my cousin because he say it's in the middle. I have no idea where should I pick this time.

Which place to count down for new year eve. The public transport available after count down?
*
After Christmas Tokyo will be Super peak, especially more closer to new year eve, Japanese normally count down in shrine or temple
http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2276.html

For me, Japan new year is only fukubukuro

what about kansai wide pass. will be spending 5 days . arrive in osaka but no idea yet if its better to take kansai wide pass if want to visit kyoto and nara. but prefer to stay at osaka. day trip maybe. is it ok ?
or not suitable . as we will be going with parent sibblings and 2 kids  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
Firstly, how many days you going to Japan?
First time there?

If you going there for less than 10 days, just focus on the surrounding around of Kyoto and Osaka
Just only Kyoto and Osaka can used up 8 days or more

JR pass and JR area pass is not a must

For 5 days, I will suggest Kyoto and Osaka is enough
Kyoto 3days, bus can already, 500yen whole day, you can reach all location in Kyoto city
For osaka, osaka amazing pass 2 days

Went there to propose to my ex-gf (now wife) at the cafe brows.gif
Called up the staffs there 4 months before proposing date, and arrange for the food and bouquet of flower at the Cafe Mugiwara.

Haha. One Piece is the only reason to go Tokyo Tower.
It was done privately. So not much recording. Only photos taken by the help of the staff.

For one piece fan, Definitely

No special charge for cc, but exchange rate may not good, you need to check online for each bank every day
Reno is Tokyo tower observation deck, not one piece theme park

Yes, I took the Shinkansen.  wink.gif  Brought bento into it, and enjoyed the meal with scenery.

I also thinking if it'll go below 37.5. If hit 37.5, I'll change it without hesitation liao. I'm getting someone else to check rates at Sungai Wang.

Updated - The rates in Sungai Wang is 38.10

QUOTE(AlienDex @ Sep 19 2017, 01:57 PM)
sunway pyramid also 38.10 as of 19/9/2017

No kiddingggggg. As long as it goes below 38 i'll go for it!
Stick your phone to the glass panel and take it from there, then the mesh won't be visible. If you take from a distance of the glass panel, you'll see the mesh.

Refused to go Starbucks because too many people and spotted the opposite train station with glass panel. FOC, less people and awesome view. Just wished that it was higher hahaha.

Hey Japanophiles,

How much are the Fast Pass for Disneyland and DisneySea? I Googled but I can't find it.

All I got was the price of regular tickets.

Also, if you have Disneyland tickets, do you automatically get to go DisneySea for free?

Thanks and ganbarimasu!
*
Their fast pass is base on timing, you have to request at the counter or facility, it has a limit, once finish giving, there will no more
http://www.tokyodisneyresort.jp/en/help/tdl_fastpass.html

Add on, if u use ur ticket in sea, u will not allowed to enter land on the same day, if you are using one day or 2 day pass
Only more than 2 day pass can switch between park on the same day

I mean the train station and road direction

I actually quite surprise,
once I drove in a small village (out of tourist location), go in a izakaya, they got English menu

Hi There, I am planning for 12 days trips where i will touch down @ KIX.

Hope to get some advice here.

We are parents bringing 4 child age from 5 to 12, so there will be a total of 6 PAX.

At the moment i haven't finalize my itenerary and am thinking to spend 3-4 days in Tokyo.

I am comparing the Transportation cost from Kyoto --> Tokyo and Tokyo --> Kyoto

Is anyone know the fare for 1-way and/or return ticket for Shinkansen? i bet it'd be quite expensive but i'd like my kids to try it. happy.gif
Alternatively i m considering to rent a car(MPV). I briefly check online and get the following but i not sure correct or not confused.gif  :

Pick up in the morning from Kyoto and Drop the car in the evening in Tokyo : Rental : +/-RM440.00

Using Tomei or Meishin Expressways estimate 600KM, so petrol +/-60litre x RM5 : +/-RM300

Toll fare : +/-RM400.00

TOTAL cost : +/- RM1,140.00 (excluding apply international license)
Please help to check whether it is correct and also the fare for shinkanses. I not familiar with Japan as this is my 1st trip. TQVM  notworthy.gif
*
For car rental, pick up at kyoto drop at Tokyo need to pay a drop off fees, for such a distance, it will cost you 24k yen
Which is another rm900 for the drop off fees

Focus on 1 area for you cases, since you have 6 persons, transportation in Japan is expensive
