I'm sure you will go few days before so if u r looking for certain Doujinshi from certain artist, get the guidebook from any manga shop in akiba. The guidebook contains the map. For limited edition Doujinshi u probably have to go overnight outside and queue with everyone else.

If u just wan to experience go around 10.30 as the queue move faster already. Bring bottle of water if u going whole day, the 7-11 there will be super crowded.

All cosplay will be held outdoor at many different locations, day 1 and day 2 is normal cosplay and day 3 is more sexy cosplay like bikini type n so on. Please queue if u wan take photos, dun take it from the side as it is very rude. There is one thing u can ask from cosplayers which is their name card. I like to collect those, just ask them "meishi ga arimasu ka?"

Entrance is free so just get in there and enjoy, there's two buildings so it's quite a long walk. First timer would probably get lost inside so if tht happens just look out for staff tht wear comiket shirt, they r everywhere and helpful.

I feel like trying out one night at expensive ryokan during autumn biggrin.gif

Anyone here got recommendations? The "japanese style dinner" I keep reading about is referred to as "kaiseki"? Or no...?
You need to decide where and what you want to do first lah... Osaka 1 day oso can, Kyoto 1 day oso can, depends on what you want to visit. If you don't want to change hotel, then you just stay in Osaka and do 1-day trips to other places - 1 day 1 city biggrin.gif Can add Hiroshima / Miyajima / Mt. Koya to your list.
*
Haha by all means please dun do Osaka and Kyoto one day, will miss out tons of stuff. Min two days

Verdict is out, rate 5/10. Can't really recommend it due to the line.
The noodles a bit too hard, egg not really onsen egg lik most ramen shop, it taste like 7-11 egg. The pork meat is soft but that's it, I tasted better. The soup is OK, nothing extraordinary tho. The shop name is written on the seaweed there in case people wanna check it out.

5.0? But there was still a queue. Maybe lunch time...?

Btw have you tried Tsuta (蔦)? I have not tried it personally, but have been keen. Friends who did, gave it thumbs up and said its worth the wait (better now with the card system). Am just seeking a 2nd opinion on the place.
*
The queue is pretty much there until the shop close. I think my tasting standard a bit too high?

Never try that, will Google it and maybe try tmr.

Edit: oh tsuta is the michelin star one, yeap try before. It's better than this but still there r better one. The chef himself told me before there's one chef tht he never beaten before in competition but he refused to tell me the restaurant name.

U dun really hv to wait, u go early morning, pay 1k yen to take a ticket. Then u go walk around n come bak at ur time slot, they will giv u bak ur 1k yen. Wat I dun lik is they limit u on stuff u can add on.

Wahahaha the chef didnt want you to promote his rival. Yeah thats what I heard about Tsuta's queue system. However the queue to get ticket is there as well ya. And what is there to do around the area while waiting for a couple of hours?
Yeah i know what you mean and I agree to a certain extent. Its like a family standing, waiting next to your table in a kopitiam, as you quickly chug down your noodles and drink.

But anyway Tsuta is like a bucket list that has to be ticked off 😂 i will try to squeeze in the Tokyo visit if possible. I cant comment till I've tried it!
*
There's nth to do in sugamo unless u wan ahem, however Ikebukuro is only two stops away. U can walk around there n go pokemon center in sunshine city

Not a Pokemon fan but I didn't know Sunshine City is such a huge complex. Very keen to check out the place!
*
It's not really big, the shop inside kinda like time Square wit higher standard? There's aquarium there too and tons of arcade places. Or u can just go Ueno zoo?
Hmm... Actually I think u can go anywhere around Tokyo as ur time slot usually will b after lunch time which giv u tons of times to walk anywhere u wan.

Kawagoe, just enjoy the old building structure. the time i went there, the bell tower on re-construction. din buy nething, just browse and look around (yes, i do agree its really crowded).
*
Foods in Kawagoe is very nice tho but slightly on the more expensive side compared to normal price in tokyo

Hi, I will be travelling to Osaka this Friday  rclxm9.gif

I'd like to know that is there any strict rule being implemented for carrying lithium ion battery travelling to japan (Im taking air asia flight)?

As far as I know items like powerbank, spare battery must be hand carry luggage, but is there a limit on how many unit that one can carry ? Because I'm planning to being my laptop, 2 power bank and 2 extra battery for my camera.

Tried google'ed a bit but what I found seems to be rules that are specific to each airlines, doesn't really have a common standard.
*
as far as i know, nope. i always carry a laptop, 1 power bank, 3 camera battery, 8 external flash battery. never been stopped before.

enjoy ur trip. rclxms.gif
