Can cloud miners join in, or do we have to set up new thread?

Instead of building your own multi-GPU mining rigs, have you considered buying ASIC miners for bitcoin and litecoin mining?
How profitable are they? |

Fellow miners,
I am on the lookout for the 504 MH/s Bitmain Antminer L3+ Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC miner from Bitmain. They have not started shipping yet, but Amazon is already asking for USD6K+ with shipping. If you know where I can get one cheaper locally, I appreciate it very much. https://shop.bitmain.com/overview.htm?name=...ic_scrypt_miner |

QUOTE(b0rhui @ Jun 26 2017, 11:06 PM) Bitmain Malaysia (dealer) has a pre order on it, arrival ETA September as per bitmain China. It's selling at a huge premium though. Would suggest you to pre-order via official website directly (remember to add on it's PSU) Thanks for the info.Pretty interesting huh Antminer L3+, price has gotten cheaper as LTC went into dip Do you mind to PM me the contact of the dealer for Bitmain Malaysia? |

Thanks, raynman.
Wow! Amazon's price of USD6K excluding shipping is really cutthroat. And it is without the ATW3 PSU. I will definitelt take a closer look at Gigawatt. |

Is it safe to place an order directly with Bitmain directly instead of going through dealers/resellers?

QUOTE(raynman @ Jun 27 2017, 01:03 PM) Divide the number of watts by 1000 to convert the number from watts to kilowatts. 800W divided by 1000 results in 0.8kW. Multiply the number of kilowatts by the number of hours the device will be used. If the device will be used for 24 hours, multiply 0.8kW by 24 to produce 19.2kWh per day of 24-hour usage. |

QUOTE(crafturtoe @ Jun 29 2017, 05:36 PM) I don't recommend cloud mining AT ALL. Why don't the companies run the miners themselves if it's profitable? I am with Hashflare for 6 months and I have got back my capital a month ago.Everyday my daily mining output is pure profit. It is a lifetime contract. You do the math. You must know which cloud mining corporation to invest in. Only Genesis Mining and Hashflare have proven track record over the years. |

QUOTE(blue16 @ Jun 29 2017, 06:24 PM) sry bro, pointing to the wrong people. What is so curious about that?i felt curious over the package their offer. SCRYPT ALGORITHM MINER is offering $13.5 per 1Mh/ to mine BTC? They use ASIC Scrypt miners to mine Litecoins and convert them to Bitcoins at the prevailing LTC/BTC exchange rate. |
