The best tyre would be the supersoft compound with low thread wear

Any slightly cheaper options?

I mean, these are the top range where you find these tires on super and luxury cars.

Cheaper options, I dunno. I think maybe Yokohama or Toyo range.

Been using these brand and model since I owned a car

Dunlop SP Sport Maxx - Good grip on dry abit sketchy in very wet road. Sidewall is very stiff provide very good steering feedback and it's a bit loud.

Yokohama A drive R1 - Average grip on dry bad in wet just a mediocre tyres with cheap price tag doesn't last very long and I sold it off

Michelin Pilot Sport 3 - Now this is the best rounder. Good on dry & excellent on wet downside ? Soft sidewall. Tends to flex when cornering hard. And the infamous PS 3 wong wong sound after reach certain mileage

Bridgestone Potenza Andreanalin RE-002. - Good dry grip meh in wet. Noisy. Sidewall is stiffer than the PS3 better steering feedbacks.

Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R - Superb in everyway. Great grip great feedback even handles itself very well in wet condition to my surprise. Downside is it's very noisy and doesn't last very long.

Pirelli Cinturato P7 Run flat. - Nothing special provide okay grip in dry and wet. Decent tires. Factory fitted with the car purchased.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4. An improvement from its predecessor PS3 especially in wet driving. Much quieter too just fitted this 2 months ago to replace the Pirelli. So far everything is well.

I'd like to try the new Goodyear Eagle F1 assymetric 3 next .

B4 this, due to the distance I actually switched to cheaper silverstone v7 on my old car. If I can recall, it only cost me RM380 for an 18inch tyre vs Avg RM550-RM650 for similar sized branded.

And surprisingly it was performing better than conti mc5 3 yrs ago!!
