Less than RM20 for a Dunlop one?

It's only around RM20lar dude, slides aren't exactly the most popular item in the local guitar world so I doubt they stock any cheap 'non-branded' slides.

If you want to cut cost, you might as well as get a bottle & DIY instead. Mind you, some of them sound better than a conventional slides.

Notice the glass thing on the guitarist's finger? (That 2nd is Derek Trucks btw ) That's a slide. You're using the slide to fret the notes instead of your fingers. Usually, you would place to slide directly above the fret and avoid any contact between the strings and the fret. The key is to apply enough pressure to strike the desired notes.

I'm not sure if there are plastic slides around but the difference is in their tone. Glass slides tend to produce warmer and rounder tone than their steel counterparts. It all boils down to preference, though.

Gentle as in? Can clarify?
