after one month usage, now I only realized the phone can be unlocked by just placing finger on the fingerprint sensor without waking up the phone. 

too used with my old note 5 where waking up the phone before fingerprint authentication was a norm.

Accidentally dropped my phone on the marble floor about above waist height.

Below is the effect. I'm happy that I installed tempered glass sp.  No harm done on the actual screen.

Mine s8plus  jus crack on the edge after suffer a 30cm drop, from the stupid wireless charger on My side table. I missed the first round pre order from Samsung. So I preorder at 11th street on 29 April. It was with bundle of free gift but no screen protection warranty.  But then later found out Samsung came out with road show again on 5-7 May offering Screen Protection Warranty ! Feel Really Stupid As Couldn't Cancel The Order At 11th Street But The Seller Promised To Get The Phone On 5/5. So now the screen jus crack so easily like tat n I'm puzzled. Heard the replacement cost like 1k plus. Really feel stupid buying so expensive phone pre order some more n get cracked so easily (even with a edge protective case on !!) n cannot get screen replacement Warranty. Samsung should have be fair to all of us who preordered the phone before it's released date . Some more now the price has drop to 3179 in lazada jus I 1month of released. Really feel stupid buying Samsung. No more Samsung in my life !!

Set Qhd display to fhd display for better battery life. Useless bixby, face recognition not recognized face. AND SUPER FRAGILE SCREEN. Even 30cm drop it crack instantly .
